I have always enjoyed whiskey but recently started drinking tequila after realising it's no longer just an unpleasant shot that needs a chaser to mask the flavour. Tequila can be delicious and even more complex than whiskey and this is definitely one of them. It's 100% agave. This spirit is made from fermented agave plant, no artificial sugar, corn or other low quality ingredients. This gives it a delicious full flavour, and no terrible aftertaste that you get with a low quality spirit. The flavour is wonderfully complex, white pepper, citrus, and herby flavour from the agave. The reposado adds a layer of caramel and vanila and softens any firey pepper notes. It is delicious and excellent value. This is a reposado (mildly aged) tequila. And if you have only tried blanco (clear unaged tequila) it is well worth a try. It adds an entire extra level of flavour and experience. It is well worth trying. This tequila is excellent for sipping neat. There's so much flavour and is very enjoyable. For the price it is excellent value and quality. Good tasting, nice quality tequila. No nasty after taste like some cheaper brands. Good for mixers and shots.

Hasnt tequila got expensive lately! Bottles i bought 12 months ago (so purchased summer 2018) were between £4 -£12 cheaper than now. Maybe it’s a shortage of agave plants? Maybe it’s becoming more popular (the new gin perchance?) or maybe it’s brexit - yes lets blame that.........anyway, this tequila. Well, it’s rather fab! Smooth , good flavour and makes a fab margarita! I so recommend this brand - in fact, it’s nearly worth the money!

Product is a very good tequila especially for its price. Prompt delivery and good packaging. The reason only 4 stars is, in my opinion, the silver tequila of this brand is better and smoother.

This is a great tequila it will not disappoint , smooth and mellow with just a hint of smoke and wonderful lingering honey sweetness on the finish 👍👍

I use it for margaritas but it's worth drinking straight on ice, very smooth for a tequila

Great Tequila at a reasonable price - even better when it's on offer. Okay to sip on it's own or as a cocktail or tall drink, we use it with bitter lemon and ice, sometimes with triple sec added. Bought multiple bottles, tend to buy a couple of bottles when on offer as you can save 1/3 or more.

Having tried quite a few different tequilas at this price point, I keep coming back to Espolon. It's a little sweeter than most others, and a lot smoother. Let it warm up to room temperature and don't let it oxidise in the bottle (tequila oxidises far faster than most other spirits).
