Great for a large living room
We have a fairly large living room, so we were looking for a bigger humidifier that wouldn’t need constant refilling. This one turned out to be exactly what we needed. On one full tank, it lasts us about 5–7 days, which is amazing. It humidifies the room really well, runs quietly, and doesn’t bother us at all, even when it’s on all day. I also really like how it looks very modern and clean, doesn’t feel bulky or cheap. The display is easy to read, and the water level is simple to check. Overall, it works great, looks stylish, and is perfect for larger spaces. Very happy with this purchase.

Buy it.
Get it. Best humidifier I have ever owned. Honestly, I just use filtered tapwater with an under the sink filter. I don’t notice any white dust in my place. I have the humidifier scale inhibitor cartridges and you can get a three pack for about 20 bucks on Amazon. I have a large studio apartment in an hi rise about 500 to 600 ft.². Humidity level is easy to set and integrate with Alexa. You will be amazed at how easy this is to use. It takes about six pitchers to fill it up.

So Many Misunderstandings—Here’s the Truth About This Humidifier
After reading through multiple reviews, I noticed a lot of misunderstandings about how this humidifier operates. I’m here to clear them up so you get an accurate picture of what to expect. [Design & Build] This humidifier has a sleek and modern design, with two lightweight sections divided by a silver band, all secured to a pedestal base with a twist lock and screw. [Lid] • The flat lid has a 360-degree rotatable mist nozzle that is angled at 30 degrees. You can change the direction, but not the angle. • The lid features a protruding finger tab for easy removal. [Water Collection & Pour Area] • Underneath the lid is a large water collection area with a centrally located mister. • It has drainage slots on one side that direct water into the main reservoir (which holds up to 11 liters or 2.96 gallons). • The top section houses the motor and a 5-ft polarized electrical cord, and it easily lifts off for cleaning. [Main Reservoir] • The bottom section contains a simple water draw tube with an attached round water filter that is easy to replace. • Other than some plastic guides for water flow, the bottom reservoir is mostly empty. [Aroma Tray] • The unit includes a rear aroma tray with removable absorbent material if you want to add fragrance. [Size & Power] • Base dimensions: 10 inches wide × 8 inches deep • Height: 31 inches from floor to lid • Circumference: 23 inches • Max power usage: 32 watts • Water weight (full): ~24 lbs • Unit weight (empty): ~6 lbs • Handles? No, but it’s easy to move when it’s not full. [Electronics & Smart Features] I won’t go into deep technical details—you can download the user manual under “Product Guides and Documents” on the Amazon page. However, I will note: • Auto Mode: Whisper quiet • Highest setting (Level 3): Not bad in terms of noise, but audible. • App Integration: The Dreo app syncs first via Bluetooth, then WiFi only for Google and Alexa support. • Voice Control: You can control most features and scheduling through the app or with voice commands. [Alexa & Google Assistant Integration] • Alexa: Can tell you the humidity setting but not the current humidity level (this is an Alexa limitation, not a Dreo issue). • Google Assistant: Can provide both the humidity setting and current room humidity when asked: o Example: "Hey Google, what is the humidifier humidity level?" o If you named your device "humidifier," Google will give you the correct response. • Important Note: This issue happens with other smart devices too. Alexa simply does not support reporting humidity levels, while Google does. [White Dust? Avoid It Completely] One reviewer mentioned white dust buildup, which happens with humidifiers using hard water or well water. Solution? Use: ✅ Distilled water ✅ Refrigerator-filtered water ✅ Demineralized water I personally use my refrigerator's filtered water and have zero white dust issues. [Performance] I placed my humidifier in the middle of my living room, set the humidity goal to 65%, and went to bed. • Starting humidity: 22% • Morning humidity: 52% o (It didn’t reach 65% because my house leaks too much air, which would cost thousands to fix.) I primarily bought this humidifier to: ✅ Improve humidity for my houseplants ✅ Stop itchy, dry skin It works perfectly for both. [Final Verdict] If I needed another humidifier, I would buy this exact model again. Dreo did an excellent job with the design, functionality, and smart features. Highly recommended. Hope this review helps someone! Edit: Three points: 1. The reservoir tank is one solid floor of plastic which cannot leak, however if you fill excessively beyond the outside marked max water line, as seen on the front, the overfill will leak from the top backside. 2. The Dreco app gives you full control over the unit except it doesn't provide a remaining water level gauge. That's because the remaining water level is only read visually from the front outside. 3. You can turn the unit ON or OFF by voice (Alexa/Google) or in combination with the app or by a schedule. The schedule could be made on Alexa or on Google home or in the Dreco app, it all works. 4. This unit doesn't provide any more white dust, than any other humidifier. White dust is simply excessive minerals, (total dissolve solids TDS) in the water. Again I use refrigerator filtered water which has total dissolved solids around 109 ppm. I liked the humidifier so much that I bought another identical one. My plants are happy and I don't scratch.

Overall good spot humidifier
I just purchased this humidifier for the cold winter in the northeast. Read the reviews, and it seemed like a good option. Set it up yesterday at 4 pm. Easy to set up, took less than 10 mins. Connected to the wifi/app and that works really well. Nice overall unit. Tall, holds a lot of water. Very quiet. Set the timer for 12 hours. Throughout those 12 hours, here is how it performed in our bedroom which is about 350 square feet. Note, I shut the doors and obviously the windows were closed (windows are new thermal windows) Starting humidity was 33%. It got up to 40% in about an hour, then dropped back down to 36%. Why? The heat was on, we have forced air and the dryness of the heat coming through the vents overpowered the humidifier. At night, especially in the very early hours (i.e. 2 am), the humidity level got up to 56%. We lower our internal heat at night to 65 degrees and recently got new windows throughout the house that keeps it there. Then when the timer shut it off at 4am, the humidity dropped down to 38% with the rest of the house at 34%. So, my conclusion is this is a good spot unit that can get your humidity up in the winter as long as it keeps running and you aren't blasting the heat in your home. Did I expect more? Yes, I did given the room it was in was half the size of its stated capacity. Also because of it's size I didn't expect it to be overwhelmed by the heat from the vents so easily. I also expected the higher humidity to stay signifcantly higher longer after it shut off. But, I still like it because I have never been able to get our bedroom in 50+% humidity in the winter and it did make a difference while sleeping, which is primarily what I was after. So tonight I'll run it 7pm to 7am to get the room at higher humidity further into the morning. Hope this helps.

Perfect stand up humidifier
I love this thing! I was so tired of constantly filling up the smaller humidifiers. This is so much better. I don't have any open furniture where I could put a smaller humidifier, so this stand up one was great. I love that it's a remote so I can get in bed and then turn it on. I have it set to 50% humidity and it puts out mist when needed. I have it a few feet from my bed and the mist is perfect. I worried it would get my bedding damp, but that doesn't happen at all. It's also not loud and I sleep perfectly with it on. (disclosure: I do enjoy sleeping with a fan and white noise on)

Very happy with this humidifier (so far). The Dreo app is useful and easy to set up. It also works with Alexa, so I can just voice command it on and off, which is great! It can be scheduled too (no more forgetting to turn it off when I leave the room). It’s not getting the room up to ideal humidity levels (45-55%), but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a humidifier that really can do that, so I don’t expect it to. It’s making a noticeable difference anyway, getting my humidity levels to consistently hover about ten percent higher than they were before I started using it. It’s sleek and discreet. Even though it’s a larger unit, it takes up very little floor space. It has two vulnerabilities, as far as I can tell: 1) You can easily ruin it by pouring water into the wrong spot if you don’t read the instructions. So pay attention to that, and make sure everyone who might fill it, knows what to avoid. 2) It’s super stable on its feet, which makes it possible to knock over if you’re the type of person who might bump into things. I keep mine beside a large plant to give it some protection.

Great room coverage and easy to use

Will be returning. Large tank, however the output is not much to make a lot of difference in humidity of the room (our bedroom). Even on night mode, made random noises that have woken us up.
