Great fun to build and very cleverly designed.

Had Great fun putting together all 3 parts to this double marblerun, definitely should not be rushed! Really needs a more powerful torque motor to run both sections through the connection kit part, which is why i gave it just a 4 star rating. However there are some great fan you-tube vids explaining how to improve/modify the connection of both parts. If planning to use the connection kit, make sure to read ALL 3 instructions first to work out what steps to pause at as the connection kit requires you to dismantle some bits of the 2 sets... and taking apart thin wooden parts can be problematic/risky. Other than that, definitely a worthwhile marble run!

Build quality is excellent. The wooden components are easily extracted from the sheets and are precision cut. They can be fragile but there are spares for the most delicate components. I did not snap any bits on the first construction (Spaceport) but did break a couple on the next part. It is really suitable for gentlemen over the age of 70 who still have adequate eyesight and infinite patience! I have done these kits before and this is easily the most challenging. I restricted myself to no more than 1 hour a day and it probably took me 5 weeks. You make haste by moving slowly and being completely confident that you understand the instructions, which are very good. I found that a magnifying glass attached to a light source was almost essential. Small modelling knives also helped. At the end of the construction it all worked. A couple of comments:- I found that the marbles tended to congregate at the bottom of the ladder part and it was best to limit the number of marbles in circulation. I also noticed that the on/off sensor for the motor did not work when it was hidden under the wooden switch. Leave it exposed and the motor switches correctly. The construction also works better if attached to a base board for rigidity. Seriously this is a VERY difficult construction but you can get it to work with care. It kept me away from relatives over Xmas so it served its purpose. (Perhaps that's why the relatives bought it for me!) Enjoy. you will be a better person for attempting it.

Excellent Xmas present. Really good quality and great value. It's kept the better half quiet for hours, he's really enjoyed putting this together.! Looks impressive when complete. Quite fiddly in parts so not ideal of you struggle with manual dexterity.

Instructins ,,,,,, this is not a kit to try to build as a " novice ". |The instructions seem contradictory at times and even tryting to follow videos on you tube I still failed to complete it. An expensive mistake !!

This is a brilliant set of models, follow the instructions carefully and it goes together perfectly, the motor does struggle when you join the marble runs together but the of achievement is worth every minute. I also had to get a replacement motor from ROKR, it arrived within 2 weeks, free of charge, excellent customer service.

Great kit but marbles do get stuck now n then.
