I tend to make Waldorf stars (also known as folded window stars or suncatcher stars) around the holidays to cheer up my windows. This paper is a great translucency and thickness for that task, and the color selection is great as you don't have the brown that sometimes comes in the precut packs and get violet instead, and the shades are light enough for the desired folded-and-layered final effect. (The dark blue even works--just need a larger pattern base piece so it doesn't overlap TOO much. Haven't tried the red yet.) Price per sheet is also reasonable.

I like that this is a bit larger than standard size, but it is not as transparent as other kite paper making it less ideal for window stars. It’s thicker and more opaque, so the sun just doesn’t come through like it should. It would do well for an actual kite or other projects.

Great product. Works very well for Waldorf Window Stars, Stained "Glass" type projects for kids and adults alike. Easy to use and beautiful colors. Enjoyed using these with a group of kids!

Pretty colors, but the paper is too slippery to fold easily. Every time you line up the edges or corners the paper slips when you try to fold it.

Exactly what I was looking for. Paper window stars make great holiday decor and a fun craft to train fine motor skills for children.

Much too expensive for what you get. I have seen this exact product on a different shopping site for a fraction (a quarter!) of this cost. Will try but I doubt that I can make stars that look like the ones shown here in the products description.
