Hydration that actually helps — light, effective, and great value
I’m a middle-aged bloke who lifts early, runs 5Ks, then sits at a desk all day — so I’m fussy about hydration. This BodyFuel powder has quietly become part of my morning routine because it does the simple things right: it mixes cleanly, tastes light (not syrupy), and I genuinely feel less “flat” mid-session and mid-afternoon. What’s good Proper electrolyte profile: sensible sodium plus potassium and magnesium, so it actually replaces what you sweat out. B-vitamins without the sugar bomb: it’s about 10 kcal per serving with ~0.3 g sugar, so you don’t get that sticky mouth or a crash you get from many ready-to-drink sports bottles. Mixability: a quick shake and it’s lump-free. No gritty residue at the bottom of the bottle. Everyday-friendly taste: subtle and refreshing; easy to sip throughout the day, not just during workouts. Value: works out at pennies per 500–700 ml bottle versus £1+ for premixed drinks. Notable details I like (per serving) Vitamin C + B-complex for general tiredness support. Electrolytes that matter for training and hot days: potassium, sodium, magnesium, calcium (a nice touch you don’t always see). Low calories, which makes it easy to fit into a cut without sacrificing hydration. How I use it (tips) 1 level scoop in 600–700 ml cold water for day-to-day use; a heaped scoop on sweaty sessions or longer runs. Add a few ice cubes if you’re taking it in the car/gym — it tastes crisper. If you find it sweet, just up the water to 750 ml; flavour stays clean. Tested in real life Fasted morning push/pull sessions — no mid-set head-rush. 5 km runs and leg days — noticeably fewer calf twinges. Office days — keeps me sipping water instead of chain-drinking coffee. Small niggles The scoop can bury itself after transport — minor, but worth mentioning. Flavour leans a touch sweet neat; dilution fixes it easily. Bottom line If you want a low-calorie electrolyte drink that actually supports hydration without a sugar wallop, this is a cracking choice. It’s become my default bottle fill for the gym, runs and long drives, and the tub represents excellent value. Five stars.

It's actually good
Tastes quite nice actually almost like a lemony blue raspberry flavour. The smell is simular to taste which was a surprise I'v tried a few products that tasted truly awful. It's cheaper that some brands but works well and provides a nice energy lift. I'd definitely try other flavours for AN The lemon and lime is not to good. Very watery taste and flavour doesn't balance well.

Great taste.
Tastes nice and mixes well, I don’t understand though why it is green. Will order again as nearly out as use once a day.

Tastes nice
Tastes good. The only negative is that the tub is far too big for the amount of powder in when you open it.

Taste is Awful
after purchasing the "Holy" brand for a few months we decided to try a cheaper alternative by purchasing Fuel. Definitely will not make the same mistake again as this flavouring is awful. You can smell a false chemical smell from product before it is even added to water. The colour resembles something that is nuclear reactive and the taste is extremely sour but in a twangy metallic way. Added to that i agree with others that the container is far too large and makes it look like you are being scammed out of product.

Honest review
I’ll be the first to leave an actual honest review, after reading the current ones it’s a bunch of nonsense. This is £15 for 30 servings, 50p per serving. So the value for money is great. It also gives you all the B vitamins you need which is also another big plus. I bought a shaker with this separately and I can make a drink in literally a couple of seconds, making it a quick healthy drink before I leave for work or when I wake up. Taste wise, I’m actually surprised about, I figured it would taste like your standard vitamin drink… a little bit cheap and meh. But no. It has a great berry flavour. All in all, the product is great, anyone who says otherwise just loves a good old whinge. Well worth the money.
