Impressive quality and grip strength!
This is the first Swedish style pipe wrench I've ever used, and I'm impressed with the quality and design. It's hefty at 2.8 pounds, and the one I received measures 18" includes in length from tip to tip. The teeth are machined for a strong bite. The rotating mechanism is easy to turn with one finger and stays securely in place when the jaws are against a fitting. I recently used them while installing a sump pump, and really appreciated the extended size and grip strength! It's a high-quality, versatile wrench in my toolbox.

A new tool bot my toolbox!
I don't get a chance to use a pipe wrench very often but when I do, they usually seem really too heavy and awkward for what really need. This was a good option for a small/medium wrench that is light but still has enough jaw capacity to do real work. The fit/finish on this tool is great and it does not have the usual "slop" you'd expect in a similar tool. The adjustment is positive and the adjustable jaw stays put.It does a find job of locking onto round or other irregular objects that need some additional persuasion. This is a good addition to my toolbox. I would definitely recommend it. I will probably try to find some similar wrenches in other sizes as well.

works grate
I am in the process of remodeling my house my front porch is 12' X 18' and I decided to go with black iron pipe for bolsters and railings. I have been using a regular pipe wrench but it is a cheep one I got from harbor freight and it would constantly loosen the adjustment nut. I went looking for a better pipe wrench and found this which is a cross between a pipe wrench and channel lock pliers. It works grate once I adjusted for my pipe size it was good all day. It was also easier to get a bite on the pipe than the regular pipe wrench gripping the pipe the first try every time. I'm not a plumber and don't use a pipe wrench on a regular bases but this wrench worked perfectly for my needs.

Heavy-Duty Stuff
This is one heavy-duty wrench, and it can do some serious damage to whatever you need it to.There's a solid amount of leverage and torque available, plus the added weight from it makes for easier use.Bright colours allow it to stand out better, and usage isn't difficult at all.

Great Value For The Price
This pipe wrench is a fabulous value at this price. It does not look like a cheap tool at all. For the money, you are getting a hefty, sturdy, quality pipe wrench with a large enough opening that should be sufficient for most residential or DIY automotive use.The quick adjust thumb nut feels very solid with little play in the adjustment threads. There is also a rubber washer built into the threads to prevent the thumb nut from getting out. The machining of this tool does not look and feel like a low quality tool at all. It is above the quality you would find at Harbor Freight.Overall, I do recommend this pipe wrench. It is great value at this price.

Hefty!
I wanted to get another wrench because I only have one good one, and sometimes you need a pair to properly torque on a stuck nut, bolt, or both stuck together. This should serve that purpose well. It's heavy and huge, and feels incredibly sturdy. The only negative, and the reason I knocked a star, is that it's longer than I anticipated. So it could have issues getting into tight spaces. Still, that extra length gives you a great lever arm, which makes the actual turning easier. Overall, it's a solid, nearly indestructible tool that I expect to have around for years or more.
