Kuhn Rikon 26681 Colori+ Non-Stick Bread Knife, Red, Stainless Steel

this is the second if bought,i got one for my girlfried, for its easy to use and it stays sharper longer

For our home made thick crust bread we use a 50% mix of Marriages wholemeal flour and 50% of Marriages Country Fayre malted brown. Not so easy for ordinary bread knives as the hard-wheat crust is super crispy/crunchy while the interior of the loaf is super soft. A typical rise in our ancient SD 253 is ten inches so the high-rise, spongy and slightly sticky, malted centre is quite a challenge for any bread knife. We have tried three bread knives over the past year. They have all cut our bread, after a fashion, but not well enough to keep. The Kuhn RikonColori is a definite keeper - a superb tool, well balanced, super sharp and micro-controllable. All in, a very impressive bread knife.

Well! It turns out that my lifelong inability to cut a straight slice of bread was neither a character defect nor inability; simply the lack of a decent bread knife! Gone are my days of wonky doorstops.

Loved the colour as easy to locate and is the best knife I have purchased for cutting bread.

initially, i ordered this knife as i needed a quality sharper knife to cut my fresh bread. as well as, the knife can be used for multiple purposes in the kitchen as my mum who always cooks seems to be using it and loves it. its 100% worth the price its put up for and the quality,sharpness and thickness of the knife is excellent. overall the knife looks appealing and it is very safe to use and i highly recommend to buy this knife.

My usual go-to is Global knives but sometimes you just need a red knife in the kitchen. Am I right! These knives are of a really good quality for the price. And they come in red! The only quibble (is that a word?) I have with them is they have a plastic handle. I am not fond of plastic in the kitchen but for these I'll make an exception. This is a reputable company and my only wish is that they had a different handle. Otherwise I recommend this item. 🙂

For the price, you cannot beat this break knife. We've had it for several years and it is still sharp. I bought this one as a Christmas gift for my brother. I originally bought it at a Sur La Table store in an outdoor mall. That closed so I ordered online. It's really a great bread knife.

Ein fantastisches Messer. Wir hatten schon ein älteres Modell davon und haben uns jetzt wieder eins gekauft. Wir haben den Kauf nicht bereut. Das Messer ist so scharf, einfach toll. Wir werden uns jetzt noch eins für unseren Wohnwagen kaufen.
