Bone Marrow Butter, From Frozen, 200g

After watching youtube videos and reading about it I sourced some bone marrow online as I doubt it's something that I could obtain from the Supermarket or even the local butcher (unfortunately the 'local' butcher is in the next town and some kinds of offal is sometimes hard to obtain) I had my first taste today after heating it up and even adding a bit to some soup. Despite the claims of it having this rich buttery, umami flavour I was disappointed in the blandness of it. It tasted like pure lard and a bit earthy but not much else. Maybe I'm doing something wrong or maybe it tastes better freshly baked from the bone, but so far I'm not impressed

Can't recommend it enough, have used it on steaks, home made burgers and inside pies, the taste is amazing. Well worth the money. It recommends not freezing it again but we have and just either grate or cut off as needed. Will definitely buy again.

Good product but needed an expiration date and more info on how to use it
