Durability
Great tool. Literally ran it 14 hrs straight. Only stopped to change pads. No issues. Worked beautifully

Good for rock polishing
This is the 2nd Vevor product I've purchased and both have been great. You simply can't beat their prices. And the best thing is you don't have to give up quality. I purchased this for polishing rocks. It is very quiet for speed settings of 3 or less and the weight is very reasonable for one handed use with rocks and slabs. I purchased a much more expensive flat lap polisher that doesn't work as well as this. The power cord and water hose have longer length than I expected, so lots of flexibility. The included disks seem versatile for doing grind through polish, however, I didn't find they were able to give a high luster polish. Purchasing higher grade polish pads/disks would be recommended for better polish. I had some trouble with the memory coils and lack of flexibility of the water hose but made it much more functional by using small zip ties to tie the power cord and water hose together.

Important to know from a PRO...
Helpful to know>>>>> The speed setting is analog, meaning it is not 1, click, 2 click, 3 etc. You CAN dial it between numbers and i found halfway between #1 and #2 is the sweetspot checked with a tachometer I read 1200 RPM no load. You can lean on the tool pretty heavy and it keeps going without slogging or stalling. The power cord is awesome long and feels like durable tough quality, not cheap crap found on many PRC tools. The water line same. The 8x1.25 bolts can be used to mount to a jig of you want but don't use longer bolts! This thing is not awful loud and I didn't feel the need to wear ear protection. It came with 4" pads but i haven't tried them yet. My 5 and 6" pads work just fine. The power switch is a positive on or off click with a good not weak spring. The motor soft or slow starts which is good / excellent to eliminate torque twist (which is tiresome and dangerous). It came with a rubber splash guard, tools, and a set of 2 motor brushes. The GFI seems solid and is closer to the plug. I am kinda wondering about the motor having water mist and abrasive silt getting inside. The water feed valve being mounted on the bottom was a must for me for several reasons.

Why didn’t I buy this earlier?
Two adjacent countertop plates started settling unevenly due to a slow water leak under the counter. Fixed the leak, adjusted the shims under the countertops but a 1/16” height gap persisted at the front of the counter. Not much, but enough to bother me. Shaved the difference down with regular circular tools, but the appearance of the stone was never the same. Shiny polish had become dull. Enter the heavy-duty Vevor wet polisher, combined with (separately purchased) polishing paste and buffer pads. The speed control, water source control, handles, etc. ensure not only that I got a perfectly smooth transition from countertop to countertop. But that the surface shine / polish / appearance matched the larger slabs. No more dull finish! It was so perfect that even my spouse was happy. So get the vevor, get an adapter for the sink (to attach the water supply) and get a great polishing paste / pad combination to take it from good to great. The included pads work great for the first 99% but a truly polished look requires a paste and pads.

Quilty product at a reasonable price.
Quilty product at a reasonable price. Used the device to polish a 12"x24"x2" black granite block for a marker and was pleased with the function of the unit. Easy to assemble and use with sufficient power/speed adjustment that I was able to quickly get the job done.

Good quality
Bought for polishing rocks. Does a good job, but it is kind of awkward to use for this purpose.

Excellent value
Works very well on flat surfaces but very hard to control on thin edges but doubt any other machine would do any better. Excellent value for the money

Tar tid, men blir bra!
