I am really taken by this watch. It does everything that I want. It is an understated design classic. The fact that a battery costs a couple of pounds and lasts an estimated couple of years, what is not to like? However, when I had read the reviews that mentioned how dim the display is, I didn't expect them to be so right .. That id the only problem I have found.

This is the exact product I wanted and have been waiting for a company to make. I just wanted a step counter which was not a huge object on my write, and have no desire for a fully fledged smart watch. I want to track steps for general health and to make me momre aware of my daily movement. There is no charging requirement, just a battery change about every 2 years. There are no notifications (I hate notification) and it doesn't look like I am wearing a fruit machine on my wrist. The watch has a very traditional 'Casio classic' look to it and I went with the 'inverted' LCD display. My last Casio was also inverted, so I knew going in that it was not always the easiest screen to read, but like my last one, a tap of the light button gives you clarity and the rest of the time you have a loverly aesthetic which makes it a slightly more interesting objection your wrist. (obviously, a personal taste.) The step counter is available with a tap of the top left button. It's not as accurate as something like an apple watch but give you a good 'ballpark' and, as i said, no charging! The screen density is nice too, three letter day as well as year, month and day on screen, unless you are looking at steps. The time is large. The gimmick of a 'progress bar' at the top fills as the minute passes, or as you get closer to your step target, depending on which mode you are in. Its not really useful, but doesn't under anything and it's quite pleasing to look at. The mobile app is 'fine' and allows synching to apple health, which is great. I have been holding down the lower left button each evening to perform a sync as it is not a 'live' data connection (for battery longevity reasons.) It's worked every time, perfectly! This watch would also be great without the app, as the step tracking would still show on the screen. The app is optional, but I do like that it stores the data and passes it to apple health for long-term trend tracking. I reduced a star because the silver frame of the device is far lower quality than my last watch. Even though I knew it was plastic, it feels less sturdy than my last watch and is very prone to fingerprints. I would have preferred a matte black option.

Love it! Classic design with a few modern features. I don't want a watch that tracks my every move, but this is a great blend of old and modern, plus it looks great. It gets lots of comments from friends and family saying "nice watch". Very comfy and well built, it's still like new after a summer of swimming in the sea snorkeling and scuba diving.

The product is no having a metal dial just a plastic one and the dial is smaller than we imagine with the metal strap width like a ladies watch, not worth for 85pounds

Better than Apple Watch

Almost impossible to read the display on this model unless in a strong light. So called back light was ineffective.

It looks great. The strap is probably thinner than I’d thought & the watch doesn’t feel very heavy. It is quite hard to see the display in anything other than bright day light. Overall though, a smart looking watch with the hard-to-find step tracker feature in a conventional retro-looking digital watch.

Casio 100 ABL-WE colore nero bello e molto leggero in stile retro' ma con un tocco di modernità' con la funzione Bluetooth che funziona perfettamente con iPhone anche lo schermo in negativo lo rende più' moderno simile ad uno smartwach seppur in certe condizioni di luce risulta non molto leggibile ma con il tasto light problema risolto e interessante la funzione risparmio energetico insomma fa' la sua bella figura senza svenarsi troppo in acquisti di smartwach o orologi più' blasonati che possono risultare un po' pesanti almeno per me pur essendo un appassionato di orologeria.

Worn daily, great fit and design. Gets easily scratched though on some surfaces, scratched mine first two weeks of owning it. Step counter is fine but that isn't really why people buy Casios.

Bra retroklocka som har tagit åt sig den nya tekniken med blåtand och stegräknare. Synkar med iPhones hälsoapp. För att spara batteri så får man själv aktivera blåtanden för synkronisering men det sker med ett tryck på en knapp.
