I'm using Hot Hands Toe Warmers which last 8 hours and expire in January 2016. I like them much btter. **Q: What's the adhesive made out of? Is it non-toxic? Safe to apply directly to skin?** A: I believe it's non toxic, but it's not recommended to apply directly to skin. I've used these every winter. They would get way to hot if put on skin! I Put them on the outside of my wool socks and then put on my boots or slippers and they work great. NOT for skin.....too hot! **Q: For those who purchased recently (2017) what is expiration date?** A: I bought some in 2012 with an expiration date of 8/6/2015, put them in my golf bag and forgot about them.
