It does come with a distinct smell but goes away after some cleaning and i mean it's size and its range of choice of bottle color and easy travel access makes up for it. But overall its LEAK PROOF like i don't feel any anxiety when throwing this into my gym bag because it hasn't leaked once even when my bag is in movement from me running so its a must buy for me !!!
