as soon as coconut oil becomes solid at room temperature and needs to be heated up slightly, you can do this either by squeezing it out in your hand or placing the bottle in a glass of hot water. This is normal.

I have very dry skin. is this product good for the body? how does it work? do i need to wash myself after i apply it on my body?

Yes it's very good for dry skin. It's a natural moisturiser. It appears quite greasy to touch but it's absorbed into the skin and is really quite luxurious. If you wash yourself after applying it you will wash it off. If you Google monoi oil you can see all the information you need 😊 this one is quite an expensive luxury blend in a nice bottle. I've bought 3 from this seller no problems.

The product contains "parfum" as one of its ingredients. Parfum can mean anything up to 100 synthetic chemicals. What is the parfum included in this?

Unlike what Deborah has said in cosmetic industry when an ingredient is listed as ‘ Parfum’ it is synthetic fragrance blend. Not essential oil. Essential oils are listed as Essential oils in the ingredient list. The Parfum listed in this bottle is synthetic Fragrance oil to impart the Gardenia scent. How do I know this? I have been working in Cosmetic industry as a Research Scientist & a skincare Formulator for many years. Monoi oil is a beautiful oil for hair & skin but the goodness comes from the coconut oil ,not from the Tahitian Gardenia Extract which is usually only 1-5% , the scent is mostly frozen the synthetic added fragrance.
