If I connect this to outdoor speakers can I connect my iphone to the device to play itunes from my phone?

Is it possible to turn bluetooth off ? I want to make sure there isn't any interference.

No, the BT is just on, so there is no 'off' button and it's just passively waiting for a BT connection. It would only switch to BT if you connected to it and played something. I rarely use BT, as I tend to use the Aux input from a switched box to select either an Amazon Echo Input or an Apple Airport. I've never had any interference problems with it and get a great sound out of it - put through a speaker switch box to allow me to have up to 4 outdoor speakers, each individually selected.
