They add like a caramel-like glaze that adds such deliciousness! I want to single out Oyakodon (chicken and eggs on rice) because it takes 30 minutes to create the stock from scratch but with this sauce all you need to do is do a 1 to 1 ratio of sauce to water and that authentic japanese flavor tastes EXACTLY the same as the 30 minutes prepped stock which is UNBELIEVABLE but it's true! You save cooking time and save on ingredients with just ONE BOTTLE! And even with the dietary needs met of many it doesn't lose any flavor or greatness! Sometimes vegan friendly flavors taste terrible but THIS SAUCE tastes PERFECT and is just PERFECT! Kimonomom invented this sauce with all of her heart! I finally tried this and in less than 2 weeks I already used more than half!!! It’s that good and versatile. It’s not as salty like regular soy but it has this yummy umami that elevates the flavor of the dishes I used it in. The consistency is just slightly thicker than regular soy very subtle difference. It’s Not spicy at all. When I ordered it I thought it was a little too expensive, but the quality of ingredients and the flavor is well worth the price for the size you get. I just ordered 2 more bottles.

Definitely delicious. Brilliant on cooked beef or pork, especially if fatty. I scarf down so much rice with this thing.

I hate that this costs so much, because I enjoy using it in a lot of different applications. I like seasoning with it as I finish making a soup or stew. It's great in a dipping sauce (ex. I replace some of the soy sauce with Umami Sauce in a homemade ponzu). Or as part of a marinade, or basting sauce. It's got an MSG-like flavor kick without the stigma.

Simple sauce that adds a light flavor. Sorta on the thin side on the thickness. Cost bit expensive but I assume its due to the ingredients making this. I was curious to try, but i think I’ll be okay without it.

Absolutely delicious sauce!! I’m such a fan of Kimono Mom and her videos, so I was really excited to try this - and it did not disappoint. I can’t wait to cook up some tasty meals with it. The bottle is the perfect size and the packaging is really well done - great quality all around. You can tell she poured her heart and soul into this sauce. It’s not overly salty, kind of similar to soy sauce but with way more flavor. Plus, the ingredients are super easy to understand, which I really appreciate. Overall, 10/10 - this sauce is a total win!
