Fullmetal Alchemist: The Movie 1 And 2 [Blu-ray]

Delivery came extremely fast, even though the estimated delivery time was up to a month after delivery. Packaged well. My only issue is that it is quite pricey, although most box sets seem to be, especially Anime! Overall a brilliant buy, can't wait to watch them.

If you're a fan of Fullmetal Alchemist 2003 and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, you're going to like these movies too.

Conquerer of Shambala is set right after the original series and is a great watch for its conclusion to the ending of that series.The Sacred Star of Milos is set somewhere in the latter 75% of the story of the FMA Brotherhood series. It's worth noting the animation is great here too and the ending themes are nice to hear from L'Arc en Ciel.A FMA fan can't not watch these.Also I always leave a star, because I get greedy for extras, like art work, OVAs, music videos etc.

Don't get me wrong, the movies are fantastic, beautiful visuals, voice acting and all. But Manga UK, no they shouldn't get the credit for these, there's no FUNimation logo on the set, who I believe did most of the work besides the great minds in Japan, also one huge thing that makes no sense, I believe that Manga UK were so happy that they got the license for The Conqueror of Shamballa that they didn't know that The Sacred Star of Milos was from a different series entirely, The Conqueror of Shamballa is the brilliant conclusion to the original FMA series and The Sacred Star of Milos is a film that takes place somewhere in the FMAB timeline. Since FMA went out of print years ago in the UK, fans are going to assume that COC belongs with FMAB's story, and watch that, where it will make no sense and spoil one of the best anime I have ever seen. If you want to see these films know that they aren't from the same universe and you NEED to watch FMA first before COC and SSOM can be watched anytime when watching FMAB. Just be careful and get FUNimation's versions of the series, and if you get the movies from the you will both save money, have better releases and be supporting them at the source to bring better content with their other releases. This review only gets 2 stars because of the source material, not for Manga UK's failed attempt!

Both films are fantastic and a must-see for any fan of FMA. The packaging is quite nice, and there's plenty of extras on the dvd's included. Some funny shorts involving Roy Mustang are the most noteworthy.The only problem with this, and also the series boxset is the lack of the OVA episodes.

Really good quality and well put together, nice artwork and looks great as a collection. Note that this is not related to FMA Brotherhood.

I actually watched the series first and funny enough was a good way to get the story so I was quite chuffed.
