Nice knife with real rosewood (I think)
The knife is worth the money for those who collect knives ,or just for a good work knife

Decently sharp
Came super oily but overall for the price pretty good, the belly of the blade was dull but feels good and nice solid design

Kindling kutter
I bought this to keep by the woodstove so I can make kindling in the mornings. I have a 12 diameter stump on which I place a piece of firewood,, then I cut small strips from the wood with this knife, using the 12 inch diameter log as a stopper so my knife blade doesn't hit the stone flooring. It shaves fir cleanly, and I can easily use a small piece of firewood to drive the blade through a 4 or 6 inch split, which I will then resplit until it is the size I need for kindling. The handle is comfortable and seems well set, and there has been no noticeable loosening in the months I have been using it. This seems to be a well made blade, and it keeps an edge fairly well. I can't say I'm not happy with the design, either. It is a beautiful blade.

Not bad!
Nice little knife. The quality feels decent and the design looks great. As for the sharpness of the blade, that is certainly something left to be desired, so expect to need to sharpen it yourself. Another commenter noted that it arrives lathered in oil, and they were correct. It comes from the factory with an oil all over the item, so when unpacking, have some rags with you.

Beautiful knife
I really like this knife. It is very well made and a beautiful design. It has a nice, genuine leather sheath that appears to be handmade. My only complaint about it is that when they were applying the reddish stain to the wood part of the handle they allowed some of the stain to get on the white bands in the center of the handle. I have included a picture. If it hadn't been for this cosmetic problem I would have given this five stars. When I get time I plan to see if I can sand it off and refinish it. I think I will be able to do that, but I would have preferred that they had taken more care when making the knife so that I wouldn't have to.
