My son is 4 and he’s an only child for now - he’s so happy and excited taking care of his new hatchimal. I love playing with it too and I love how there’s a lower volume option. It’s so cute and just perfect for kids! I grew up with a tamagotchi or nano but this is next level! Love it!

These are so much fun for everyone! My 3 year old absolutely adores them. I do wish we could choose which one we were ordering, however, he just loves watching them hatch. They are fun to play with after too. Loved the smoke and the music. It sang happy birthday when coming out. He still plays with it now that it’s hatched and loves teaching it how to speak. We just bought our second one for Christmas because he loved the last one so much!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: because it is super cool Color: thankfully got the one that was wanted! Fun for kids: very fun for kids (and adults to watch) Functionality: great play time out of it so this has been my go-to gift right now. i've been able to get it for $20 either on here or walmart online. the price fluctuates. my daughter wanted one for her bday. it was so much fun watching it hatch! i wasn't expecting it to be so interactive. then, my son (6), wanted one... he liked the dragons. thankfully the red/orange one hatched for him! he LOVES it. then, our neighbor who is almost 5 was obsessed with ours, so i got it for him as a gift. his whole family was over and i basically did a "demo" of this thing and they all "ooh'd and ahhh'd" at the spectacle. it was so funny! it mists, wiggles, cracks open, sings a song... grown adults were amazed LOL. it's a great gift but does take some help from an adult. i think an older kid would probably think it's too baby-ish. and actually, the animal that comes with it actually does a lot of fun things! my kids like it better than the ferbie. it does a cute dance party, "throws up/toots" (which is hilarious to them), etc. anyway, if you can get it for $20, it's a steal and a MUST for a gift. i highly recommend!

The Hatchimals Draggle was a huge hit! My 7-year-old was completely captivated—the hatching process was exciting to watch, and it made the whole experience feel magical and interactive right from the start. It really builds anticipation in a way that few toys do. Compared to other interactive toys like Furby, this one is way more fun and engaging. The Draggle responds to touch and sound, and “grows” through stages, which kept my child interested well beyond the first day. It’s cute, colorful, and surprisingly responsive. If you’re looking for a gift that’s memorable and interactive, this is a fantastic choice. It made for a very special surprise and was totally worth it!

Purchased for my 5 year old niece for Christmas. She loves it! The hatching was actually really fun for both the kids and adults.

The instructions on how to hatch were a bit confusing and we ended up peeling it and were inpatient in getting it out but it was cute. Kind of dumb that there isn't a reusable shell. My daughter was disappointed at the fact she couldn't reuse the whole shell and only use the bottom part. She throws it around and it's become a bit of a hazard but the toy itself is cute and she loves it. Although when she uses it as a battering ram it's hard interior can do some damage, so we take it away. But otherwise a pretty ok toy. My daughter was 4 when we have this to her i don't think the 2 year old would have been as ok with it.

So cool. There is smoke, and hatching animation. So great for kids. They love how it hatches and now they care for it as if it was a real pet. Best for kids who is asking for a pet but you cannot take care of a pet. Give them one of these hatchimals.

My daughter loves hatchimals and I was sad the ones from a prior generation I had bought for nieces were no longer a thing…until they released these! Like so many toys, I figured the relaunch of this would be an absolute bust. I was WRONG! This thing is absolutely adorable and fun! It’s like a mix of Magic Mixies and Furbys! You get the absolutely unique experience of hatching it (the smoke is intended) along with all of the fun interactions of a furby! I don’t normally love things that copy you, but if you hold this guys belly, he’ll repeat what you say…but he does so many OTHER fun things that it doesn’t get abused like the toys that only repeat! My tips, there is a string you pull that releases its horn and wings, but there are additional stings you need to cut on the wings for them to stand upright correctly. The wings move, I thought that was neat! The smoke was intended, I was worried for a minute, but it was so neat and really added to the magic of the hatch! I ended up getting 2 more for Christmas because of how good they were!

Das Schlüpfen ist auf jeden Fall das Highlight dieses Produkts und zieht jung und alt in seinen Bann! Auch der Drache selbst ist süß und hat nette Funktionen, allerdings wird bei uns der Furby ihm gegenüber vorgezogen. Als Geschenk auf jeden Fall ein Highlight bei den Kids!

Es ist toll gemacht. Und für Kinder ist es sehr spannend beim schlüpfen zuzuschauen. Es macht tolle Geräusche beim streicheln. Meine Kinder sind total begeistert.
