Fun germination experiment with them
Well I waited and the day came. I like comfrey, its a good all around crop to have and the chickens love it. I read the reviews and knew comfrey from seed can be tricky. Well I did 3 methods with this and they all worked. In the picture my pointer finger had the best growth, was cold strat them first, the 2end my middle finger was just seed start mix, light, and wait with keeping the soil moist and it had good growth too. The last one I did, my ring finger, was just outdoor potting soil and compost mix sowed and left it outside, it has weaker growth, but it's growing and that's all you need to start. So my review is great seeds, just do some research on what you're growing to get max growth and yields.

bad batch of comfrey seeds
Not one seed sprouted. I planted other items at the same time and they are already growing nicely. Not sure if this was a bad batch, but I am very disappointed with this purchase. I have attached pictures of the comfrey which did not grow. and picture of the wild lettuce and mullein that did grow. These were all planted at the same time

I haven’t planted them yet, but I’m hoping for a great success and once I do this spring, I will let you know with a picture of them.
