TaylorMade 2018 Noodle Long & Soft Golf Balls

If you're not a good golfer, why spend $4 a ball for a ball that's just as likely to find the woods or the water? Nice soft feel, good distance, and only $1 per ball! Won't fix your hook or slice, but guess what? Neither will a Titleist Pro V1! If you're a good to great golfer with a 100+ mph swing speed, buy the Pro V1, it will likely improve your distance and be more workable with a better feel/spin around the greens. Everyone else should buy this ball instead. Don't buy Nitros, I tried those. They may be cheap, but it's like hitting a rock, they're too hard! The only downside is the Long and Soft only comes in white.

I was incredibly surprised at the quality of these for the low price. Perfect firmness for me (right in the middle, not too soft not too hard) and the durability was good. This isn’t a “5 star ball” but if you’re an average golfer that loses some balls every round, and want a quality value ball, this is a great option.

Great for the golfer with a slower spin, to get more yardage off the tee; a good ball for beginners or seniors. It does have a softer cover, so it does tend to roll more on the greens. These are affordable and for someone who needs help with distance, over their short game.

I am a high handicapper in search of a decent ball. These fit the bill well, especially at $15 a dozen. If I do my part (not very often) they flight long and straight. They also feel good around the greens. I will be buying more along with the Wilson Staff Duo Soft balls at the same price point.

First of all, these balls are made by Taylormade so the quality is very good. I get just as good distance and feel as the expensive balls. For example, I found a Taylormade T5 and compared it to the Noodle Long And Soft and they both had the same sound and jump off the club! Second, they are an excellent value. I love these balls!

Good ball

60 year old 12 index golfer with a 75 mph 7 iron swing and 90 mph driver swing, who has always used Bridgestone Tour B RXS and Srixon Q-Star balls. Bought the 15 pack of these Noodles on a lark and switched them in and out over a month and a dozen rounds and ... absolutely no difference in feel, distance or spin from the $4 RXS and Q-Star balls. I know the Noodles are two-piece construction and don't have a urethane cover, but they perform exactly the same for me. Same 250 yard drives, same trajectories, same softer feel off clubs & putter, same stop within a foot or two on good short shots to the green. Might be different for much higher swing speed golfers, but I just can't justify continuing to spend $4 instead of $1 per ball when I've proven to myself that there's just no detectable difference in feel or performance. If you're a similar type golfer, consider giving them your own test.

This is a good golf ball for the price you pay. My only complaint is that the box said they were made in 2017 which makes them 4 years old. I wouldn't mind a couple years of age but 4 years is different. I will buy the Noodle golf ball again but probably from a different seller and definitely not a 4 year old ball.
