It teaches from 1 to 6 point perspective, plus light and reflections, all with complete accuracy. Here's a drawing of Steve to show the power of this book. But DO NOT expect the book to learn for you. It takes time, effort, willingness to make sense of things that don't. This book can be improved regarding the visualization of what the lines mean. Perhaps an explanation about non-euclidean geometry/spherical geometry at the start of the book would be best, rather than bringing up those concepts at the end of the book when talking about 5 point perspective. Anyways, great book that got me results, but not without hardship. Not giving up and pushing yourself to makes sense of things will get you to the end. Review: master perspective drawing - I've read and worked out many perspective books, none come close to the clarity and structure of the process taught in here. No sloppy shortcuts or fancy tricks, just honest work done in progression, and a skill built from section to section. The knowledge builds on skills acquired in previous chapters and work, insuring a solid foundation and promoting review as part of the learning process. It answers many questions left ignored by other drawing books, and will make drawing more intuitive, exciting, and like learning to drive a car, fun and adventurous once mastered. What a great gift to anyone serious about developing their drawing skills. Much appreciation to the teacher for creating this work.

A treasure
This book is amazing. Just amazing. Anyone who draws or paints can use this material on 4, 5 and 6 point perspective as well as 1, 2 and 3 point perspective. This book is basically the detailed notes that he wrote for when perspective was part of his lectures. I can actually say that I love this book.

A wealth of knowledge
The author clearly has a deep and broad understanding of the subject. It helps if the reader has an interest in geometry/mathematics though — the vast majority of pages contain at least one geometric diagram. But I found details in this book that I couldn't find anywhere else, it really is a treasure.

Mystery Dried Substance and the Unexpected
They must have placed this book on the kitchen table or something because when I received it, it came with dried mystery substances on the back. Even arrived with came some colored thread clinging to dear life on the back cover. I was going to send it back, and demand a refund, but I found the content inside interesting enough that I drenched it in bleach. It was good as new! The inside was clean. The content itself isn't for everyone, it's very boring an unspecific. I included a photo of a random page in the book to show what the rest of the book practically is. It wasn't what I was expecting, I thought it would be filled with actual example using photographs to show how angles and point of views work, but most of them are just graph-like explanations. The books purpose is to help you understand how to grasp perspective to the point where you don't need reference, which is a cool concept, and why I decided to rate it 5 stars. The book looks and feels like a standard college, softcover textbook. Hopes this helps.

Complex, thorough, and analytical.
This book is a deep dive into perspective. Its for the more analytical minded person though. It gets into a lot of concepts that take much practice and rereading to comprehend and master. It’s definitely worth the effort though.

Comprehensive Perspective Resource
I've been going through a lot of books on perspective to try to learn the subject for art and this is the only one I've read that thoroughly covers the subject with everything you'd need to set up perspective by hand. Other resources often leave out how to solve important problems in the interest of keeping things simple. You may not always need all the techniques offered here, but this resource will give you the confidence to fall back to them if need be.

Get the fundamentals right
This is the perfect book to get if you want to firm up and strengthen your understanding of the fundamentals of perspective theory. It's not for the faint of heart, but if you know what a station point or a measuring point is you won't go wrong.

Very thick, seemed very informative and I looked forward to reading this. However, the print quality was very pixelated, even the text wich seemed weird to me. Weird paper quality, thin paper, bad printing. Returned my copy and will be looking to buy the book elsewhere.

At over $76.00 you would expect a clean crisp brand new copy of a book. However, as is so often the case with Amazon, this book looks likes it's been saved from the dumpster. Dirty, dogeared and not how you would expect a new book to look like. Unfortunately returning the book is such a nightmare, and I had to wait an inordinate time to get this trashy copy, I have to resign myself to yet another less than satisfactory Amazon experience. The book content is the only redeeming feature, and the subject is expertly and thoroughly covered.

Il s'agit d'un traité de perspective linéaire progressif et très complet de A à Z.
