These are cool devices. I used them to monitor outputs from my laser cutter from home assistant. I just hooked each of the laser outputs to the inputs on this relay and can now monitor and track runtime, set up automation easily and basically just nerd-out on home assistant. Shelly offers a solid product!

Great product for a very specific purpose, to trigger *other* Shelly relays, but device has no "dry contacts" of its own, just to be clear. Embedded in my wall of my garage, using momentary rocker switches, it makes for the perfect solution to trigger the Shelly relays that control my garage door openers.

I used this for a project for Home Assistant to detect fire and smoke from this alarm. It works exactly as expected, super easy with the Shelley App

This works great for detecting the change between "open" and "hot". But it doesn't work to detect the change between "on" and "off" when the off has a pull down. For example, connecting to a light bulb to try and sense when the light has 120v applied vs when it's off. Both the on and the off are connected to something and the device sees both the on and the off as connected - the light's filament is connected to neutral. So this triggers the device to see a connection. I solved this by adding a relay. Now the light bulb energize also powers a relay coil and the Shelly senses the relay closing. Works great.

Easy to set up, has email capability, using it as a relay input to broadcast alarm. Does much more that just that. Recommend

Great little device. It allows you to connect a momentary light switch that can trigger an event within Home Assistant.
