Beautiful Heavy Pan
Better than expected. This pan is beautiful with it’s polished stainless steel exterior and non stick interior. The glass lid allows you to see what’s cooking and the progress along the way. I love that there’s a short u shaped handle on one side with long handle on the opposite side. Both are metal making the whole pan oven safe without worry. The long handle does require ‘assembly’. Do not let that scare you! It’s super easy with the instructions and tool provided. I didn’t catch that in the description but I handled it in under two minutes. This pan is heavy duty with the look and feel of two other French made pieces I purchased at a culinary shop for about $250 each. Once you wash dry and ‘season’ the pan as instructed it’s ready to use. So far, nothing has stuck to it. One tip from my experience is to let the pan heat just to the point where a drop of water will dance across the cooking service before you add oil, butter, grease or any recipe ingredients. The pan has even surface heating to make cooking easier and clean-up was quick and easy. This pan is a functional work of art that I’ll use for years to come. I will replace my last two 1-4 quart teflon coated pans as the budget allows.

SnowClad Pots and Pans - My Opinion!!
Absolutely enjoy cooking with the SnowClad Pots and Pans that I purchased. Each Saute Pan and supposed 12" pan cooks well and evenly on a much lower heat than I expected. The Wok, which I had reservations about, cooked my stir fry quickly and evenly; it was a wonderful experience! The food comes out tasting great and these Pots and Pans wash out very easily. As for sticking, I have found that some foods may "stick", but does not really adhere to the pan, so the food is easy to remove with a silicone spatula or spoonula. Since I purchased the Pots and Pans, about a month ago, I use them often, and so far, I have had no problems with any of the Pots or Pans that I bought. ** For the record, I bought a large Wok, a 5 qt Saute Pan, a 6.5 qt. Saute Pan, a supposed 12" Fry Pan, and a 2.5 qt. Pot. All this said, please be aware that the 12" Fry Pan measures only 11.5" across the top from lip to lip, and the inner portion measures 9.5" diagonally. Either I was sent the wrong size or that is the measurement of my 12" pan. I thought about returning the 12" Fry Pan, but it has become such a useful pan in my collection, I decided to keep it and have used it several times now. Eventually, I would like to add a larger 12" fry pan for my cooking needs, and will look for one shortly. In the meanwhile, I use the saute pan for larger portions. *** One very important note from someone who has cooked for decades. If you are cooking with Hybrid pots and pans or even the newer ceramics, use a lower heat! If you use higher heat, I am certain you will burn your foods, destroy your pots and pans, and the food will most likely stick to the pot or pan that you are using. I have not tried cooking on higher temps, but I would assume it would be a real problem. Hoping this feedback is helpful for future purchasers, and IF I do have any problems, I will be sure to update my Feedback.

Love these Snow Clad pans!
This pan is great! I purchased it to replace my old larger pan that had scrated and warped over the years. Loving the size of this pan as it allows me plenty of space to cook meals for the family. Since it's a deeper and wider pan we have noticed less messes on the stovetop. It's heavy and well made. Very easy to clean! There are no scratches after using it for the past few months now. The lid fits perfectly and is not warping after being used multiple times. Like this pan so much we decided to buy 2 of the smaller pots and the cutting boards to add to the collection. Great value for the money!

Snowclad rises above all other pans that I have
In this short time that I have used Snowclad, it has easily become my favorite pan. I have been seeing and hearing so much about Hexclad but wasn't ready to pay for the cost of one. Snowclad has an affordable price point for their pans so I decided to give it a try. So far, I have seared steaks, browned meats, fried eggs, cooked omelettes, sauted vegetables and everything came out great. Foods cooked evenly across the pan. Also, I like that I was able to use pretty much use any utensils I already have including metal. Nothing stuck to the pan and the clean up was easy peasy. Snowclad impressed me so much that I will be looking to buy a whole set.

Heavy
Cooks evenly and heats up quickly. It’s large and heavy. The quality is good and has the double handle to make handling easier. It’s still heavy and hardly to transfer food out of it using only one handle. Not the fault of the pan. I would buy this brand again.

Out preformed my expectations
What did I think? It was beyond my expectations. It browns so evenly and the pork chops were gold. The cleanup is a breeze and basically all you have to do is put in hot water and a little soap and the food comes right off along with any residue. I also like that it doesn’t scratch easily and you can use metal utensils on it, it’s much safer because it doesn’t have the environmental coatings that are so harmful to people and animals. I had been looking at high sided frying pans for several months and had my eye on this one and I’m so glad that I decided on it. I bought the one with a handle on each side so I could put it in my oven to make pizza, which by the way turned out great. Wish I could afford the entire set. If you buy it you won’t be making mistake! If your a oook, your going to love it.

Cooks perfectly, just seasom first and use lower heat than you are used to.
So far this pan has been great. I followed the first step to season the pan. then for the first thing I made in it was RICE. yes, heave starches, etc. no sticking, no burning, nothing. Cleaned perfectly. Second I did was make hot dogs. browned half a dozen at once. same thing. cleanup was a breeze even after extra cooking on them. just running water over it after cooking and cooling the pan down almost cleaned it completely. Soap and water was it to finish the clean. I also followed suggestions for this type of hybrid pan and used lower heat settings. still cooked well and fast.

Nice skillet, don't handle the lid without a mitt
My only concern is the lid handle gets HOT, it needs so type of heat cover over it. The skillet so far is holding its coating and I'm impressed with the even heating of the skillet. I find the skillet is deep enough for what I cook in it, and the weight of the skillet is manageable.

Great Pan!
Bought this December 2024. Read the instructions and don’t use on high heat, like it says. It’s a great pan: we are very pleased with it. It is non-stick when used as per instructions, which we have done. Would definitely recommend this pan.

Great Skillet but calling it Non-Stick is a Stretch!
We upgraded to a wonderful induction stove recently and so have been replacing some cookware that did not respond well to induction. This SNOWCLAD pan works extremely well on an induction stove. It heats up virtually instantly. The cookware feels quite solid down to its lid. Having short handles saves storage space compared to our previous supposedly induction skillet that took a long time to get warm. The material used is composite. so there is some vibration noise when in use. It is minor though. The skillet is very well built. It is so flat that it easily slides on the stovetop, so sometimes one had to hold the other side to keep it centered. The one true downside of this one though is that it is only partially non-stick. We can't cook anything in it without oil or butter and expect it not to stick. Its too bad because we used to have an older skillet of the same size that was non-stick yet it didn't work properly on induction.

Don't buy it!!!
I don't like it. I've had it for a month, but when I put oil in it, the oil gathers around the edges instead of the center. I shouldn't have to use so much oil.

Hots spots - curved bottom
Don’t buy this pan - especially for frying. It has hot spots and bottom surface is curved so oil or butter etc. pools at edge of pan. A total waste of money.
