The instructions were clear, but honestly, the design is so intuitive that you barely need them. The biggest upgrade over my old valve is how quiet it runs. I haven't replaced a toilet fill valve in many years, but I remember the last one being troublesome since it was a different brand and model from the original in the toilet tank. This Korky is wonderful, however - very simple and straightforward instructions and then it operates more quietly and very reliably so far - if that changes I'll be back to edit the review. Replacing this yourself will save you anywhere from $125-300 for the labor. If you think you can't do it or are afraid of plumbing issues - I get it, I don't like water seeking any unsealed gap and causing leaks - ask a handy friend to help. Removing the old fill valve is pretty easy, the only issue I had was that the water 'pipe' in the toilet to which the flap is secured at the bottom and where the rubber/plastic tube is clipped at the top for filling that pipe (which then fills the tank) had a round plastic piece at the top shaped like the 'theta' symbol. I wondered if it was permanently connected to the pipe, but gently wiggled it with cloth-covered pliers and it came off easily allowing me to clip the water tube from the fill valve where it appropriately connects. The other tip is to make sure the 'line' marked on the fill valve is 1/2" below the top of that water intake pipe where the fill valve plastic tube connects. I had to cut off about 1" of the plastic tube since it was too long for the distance between the fill valve connection and the water intake pipe. All in all it took about 1 hour since I haven't done it often. I really appreciate that it's made in the USA and gets fantastic reviews.

I purchased 2 of these quietfills, 1 for my pool and 1 for toilet that had the old style ball floater. It's a perfect fit for the pool, fills the pool no issue. Toilet now fills quietly and fast. very easy to change out in both scenarios!

I only use Korky Valves and parts. You can fix a leaking toilet in ten minutes if you know what you're doing. They seem to save water, a great value, easy to install, fit well, work quietly and are quality made.

After many years, the original fill-valve failed on my Niagra Stealth vacuum assisted toilet. I was worried that this new-style fill-valve wouldn't fit into the relatively small space available alongside the flushing mechanism. It does fit. I had to unlock the white-covered float valve by twisting it all the way to the right when I installed it using the hand-tight nut. Then after installation when I locked the white float-valve (by twisting it left at the proper fill-height), it locked into place with just barely enough clearance before hitting the side of the tank, as can be seen in my photo. (NOTE: If you need to adjust the float height after installation, be sure to shut off the water first!) I added the tube using the included stainless steel clip. Everything is working well. Before and after photos attached. We'll see how long it lasts, but for now I'm giving it 5-stars. I'll likely revise this review if it doesn't last several years.

Quality of product is good but of no use as its inlet dia is neither 1/2” nor 3/4” thats why unable to connect to water supply .. dis product should be removed from amazon as it’s useless for indian users….

It’s good and silent, however ,inlet pipe size deferent in USA mm in UAE inch . The specification shows it 1/2 inch but it’s not.
