Philip's with Ambilight and Hue talk the experience to next level
If you use Philip's hue lights then Philip's tv with ambilight+hue can surprise you with the results. I have 75 inch model and everyone loves the quality of picture and ambilight. Sound is never going to be nice with default tv speakers. Android smart features are standard like any other android tv. Philip's TV in my experience is match for all top brands out their with ambilight it takes the overall experience to next level. A must to consider option if you are looking to buy new TV

Fantastic picture for great price, ambilight is brilliant
I am very impressed with the quality of this TV. The colours are vibrant (Qled level) and the blacks are very close to Oled. The ambilight feature I was unsure about before buying but now I've seen it I absolutely love the tech. Highly recommended

Promised so much, but ultimately failed!
[Update 3] The end of the road for this TV unfortunately. The replacement set has started exhibiting the exact same fault as the original one. Amazon have been great and offered a full refund and collection instantly. I now just have to source a replacement. I really love ambilight but I'm honestly not sure I can stomach another Philips TV unfortunately. 2 stars for Amazon's amazing customer service[end] [Update #2] So the TV is going back to Amazon... *sob* But the replacement is already here!!! I noticed over Christmas that about 1/3rd the way down the screen there's a line where it seems the backlighting isn't consistent. Initially it was really difficult to see and needed a solid light colour across the screen to really stand out, however as time went on it became more and more obvious, to the point I couldn't enjoy TV anymore. Initially I contacted Philips who at first were quite good at communicating in reasonable time. However the last email, where I sent them photos and videos of the problem, has gone unanswered. I know they've watched the video as there's a view count on it! Over a week went by and still radio silence so I thought I'd go back to the seller (Amazon). Yet again Amazon come out shining. It took a 5 minute online chat to cover the issue. I provided the same evidence and was told that, due to the cost, it would need manager approval for a replacement. Within half an hour I had the email saying a new replacement had been ordered and would be delivered in 3 days. This morning it came and I've got a 1 hour collection slot tomorrow morning for the defective TV to be picked up. I hope it's not a generic issue as I still love the set. Philips customer service (Yes, I know their TV's are actually made by TP Vision) obviously leaves a lot to be desired but clearly that's not the same with Amazon's.[end] [Update] Still 5 stars! Over the last 4 months I've had several updates which have added to the experience, mainly in performance and removing the odd quirk ("No Signal" image occasionally remaining on screen once a device was powered up). But the big improvement is the compatability with Philips Hue lighting via Ambilight +Hue. The system now controls the lights perfectly, even remembering the previous state of the bulbs before the TV took over their control. Overall I love this set. Yes, there were some crazy Black-Friday deals on 65 inch 4k sets but I'd spend the money over again to get this, it's that good. [End] Picture, asthetics, features and connectivity, in fact everything about this set, is brilliant! I'd had this on my wish list for what seemed a life time, but for some reason the release date kept getting pushed back. A couple of times I nearly switched to a different model but I'm so glad I waited. Considering it's an Ambilight set it really is very thin which means that, even at 65 inches, it blends in really very well. I have it connected to both SkyQ and and Xbox One S, both of which the TV identifed immediately and named the inputs accordingly. Android updated on the day I received it and I've had no issues at all. There's one slight quirk with regards to the Ambilight +Hue feature but I think that's more down to the Hue hub than the TV itself. The only other negative I can think of is that the supplied power cord is way too short. I have all my cables routed through the wall and I've had to order a longer cord to achieve this.

Would I buy again, no chance!
Android system is slow to react, quad processor? Doesn’t feel like it. The picture is nice, not as great as I thought it would be. The sound is absolutely rubbish, the speakers flap at about 30 volume. You need an after market receiver and 5.1 speakers to replace. The remote response is slow, and lethargic, it’s like waiting for things to happen. The headphone output sound is out of sync with the picture, and even with the hdmi out with Dolby there’s a slight delay on the voice. It looks like the digital out bypass setting makes it better, I can’t pin it down at the moment. The tv menu is very slow, doesn’t show the right programs or pictures of programs. Navigation is sluggish. Philips need to brush the operating system up dramatically. It sucks. ONE POSITIVE: The ambilight is absolutely amazing and hence the high rating. It’s like youre in an amazing cinema, obviously with Bose acoustimass 10 and denon amp.

Excellent AndroidTV with amazing quality for a decent price.. Real challenger to big brands
After a lot of research and careful thinking I have decided to go ahead with this TV though there are few mixed reviews on Internet. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase for the following reasons : - Easy to setup and very simple. - Top notch picture quality....sharp and bright as close as OLED display. - Subtle viewing experience with Ambilight feature which enhances overall viewing experience to different level. - Plenty of apps such as Amazon Prime, YouTube, Netflix and this list goes on. - P5 processor does the decent job in background to make Android TV is a seamless experience - One of the best remote design which I have across in recent time... Extremely user friendly. - Chromecast and Google voice control features are decent. - DTS HD premium sound quality is extremely good and impressive. - Lot of connectivity options and very well integrated with my LG SK9Y Dolby Atmos sound bar and elevating my movie experience as close as theater experience. Certainly it is one of my best purchase and ticked all boxes and exceeded my expectations in all areas. I have bought this through Costco Online for a decent price with 5 years warranty. Don't waste your money on other brands as it is far better in terms of quality and price. Anyone is considering to buy this model or above series.. I would strongly recommend to go ahead and you would soon realise and fully satisfied with your purchase without hurting your pocket...

Gerät fristgerecht geliefert, Verpackung ok, Spediteur korrekt. Mal sehen, ob's so bleibt.

Hier muss definitiv eine Soundbar her.

Top
