Guide to how to set up the Soldering Station and Compatibility with other Soldering Irons
Guide:To set up the temperature profiles for the different channels, long press the desired channel (CH1, CH2, or CH3) for a few seconds. You will now see channel displayed and the temperature on the lower left of the screen. Use the up or down arrow key to adjust the desired temperature. Wait 3-5 seconds and you will see SUC (Short for Success). You now have the temperature profile set up for the channel you selected. When pressing the asterisk key (*), you will see the number 1 and you can change the number by using the arrow key ranging from 0 to 4. This is the settings selection screen or menu. Only one number will occupy the screen. The numbers corresponds to a setting. The numbers corresponds to the following settings:0. Save. (Save that changes you have done).1. Temperature of the soldering iron when you turn it up.2. Temperature offset. (Only in Celsius, Can be adjusted -80C to +80C).3. Celsius or fahrenheit.4. Time til the soldering iron goes to sleep. (0 to 99 seconds)To adjust the setting, use the up and down arrow to the number that corresponds to the setting you desire to changr, press the asterisk key (*). Now you can use the arrow keys to adjust the desired setting. Press the asterisk key (*) going back to the setting selection with the numbers 0 through 4. To KEEP/SAVE what you have adjusted/change use the arrow key to the number 0 and press the asterisk key (*). To NOT KEEP the settings you have changed wait 5-6 seconds on the setting selection screen or 10-12 seconds if you are on the screen where you are adjusting the setting.Compatibility:Note: Different tips (the C115 and C245 type) will require its on soldering handle. The handle provided are not compatible with different tips sizes. The tip provided is a C210 tip. The handle uses a 6 hole/pin connector to connect to the station. Make sure to buy a handle with the correct connector. The visual of connector the soldering handle needs to be is shown in the photos.Size of tip from smallest to largest: C115, C210, C245.The machine works with a C245 soldering handle and tip. It will also work with a C115 handle and tip (Haven’t tried). The soldering iron heats up very quickly for both the soldering tip that is provided (C210) and the C245 tip. The soldering handle and tip is bought separately. The C115 which is smaller than the C210 will also heat up quickly.Review:Overall the BK601Pro works very well. In the packaging it includes the soldering station, the cable for the soldering soldering, a C210 soldering handle, a C210 soldering tip, a tweezer, a desolder pump, solder wick, and a solder wire. Size of the station is 160x165x105mm and weighs about 2.0 pounds. Stability wise, the station maintains its temperature and is pretty stable.Things to Note when Buying:There is a ringing/buzzing sound coming from the station. It is very quiet, but there if you are very close to it. With a fan or fume extractor on you won’t notice it. However, some people might be sensitive to this sound. If you are wondering what it sounds like you can take a look at the video in the 2 star-review labeled “Its heats quick…supposedly”. In the video if you listen to the background you will hear a beeping screeching sound.

Great soldering station!
Really cool soldering station! Comes with almost everything you need, and I have had a good experience so far. Love the handle on the top, and both the iron and heat gun remain cool around the handle during use. Heats up quickly, and the heat gun can be removed from the station like the soldering iron (which I didn't think you could, based on the images). The only reason it isn't 5 stars is that the soldering iron holder doesn't mount to the side of the station like the heat gun. I made a little DIY magnetic thing to attach it, and I like being able to carry everything together with just the single handle.Overall, really happy with it.

Much better…
Don’t waste your money buying a hot air station if it has the fan in the handle. Just spend the extra 20 bucks. And buy this one. If you need to remove ic chips then this is the one you want. I used the one with the fan in the handle and it would take about a minute to two minutes. This unit does it it under 30 seconds with the same heat settings. The rotary knob also pushes in to adjust the fan output. THERE ARE 2 SCREWS THAT NEED TO BE REMOVED FROM THE BOTTOM BEFORE YOU USE THE MACHINE. BUY NICE OR BUY TWICE. I hope this helps someone out. Hope everyone is safe and well…

Warning, if you have this unit please check!!!
Unit damaged in shipping, made horrible noise when turned on. Yes shipping screws were removed. Upon opening unit I see the pump is rubbing the transformer to the point of leaving some of the yellow insulating tape from transformer on the pump face. This is a huge safety concern, as it will rub through and short out the transformer. The tube of solder was shattered in the box as well as scratches and a dent in the unit. I had purchased about 6 months ago the same unit in blue, the hot air worked fine but the soldering iron did not. I returned the unit hoping for something better. Fortunately I took pics of the inside of the unit. You can see the distance from the transformer to the pump in the blue unit is plenty not to rub the transformer. The Yellow and black unit it is rubbing against it. Please see the pics and if you have one of these check it out to see if it is rubbing. It appears it was not properly manufactured. There are no other holes in the bottom to move the transformer.

Good quality
Decided to invest in a higher end soldering tool. I do lots of vintage electronics restoration and the component removal tool (heat gun) and adjustable heat iron was a must. Everything works great and I’m pleased with its operation. My only issue is the air tool cannot be disconnected when not in use and is hard wired into the unit. Not a big deal but it’d be nice to keep it out of the way more when I don’t need it. Other units have a screwed on quick disconnect feature but the overall quality and features otherwise make up for it.

The human loves it and uses it daily for work
I don't know anything about this thing that I bought but my boyfriend is happy with the purchase. He uses it on electrical stuff for e-bikes and has no complaints. The customers are happy too.

This is a great unit!
The heat controls are great on this. The air pump makes it quieter than other heat guns. The sensor on the holster is great as well automatically starts a cooling process on the heat gun.I do wish that the holster for the soldering iron was something a bit more substantial and able to be mounted to the unit. But it works fine for what it is.I would definitely but this unit again. Hopefully I will not have to. But only time will tell!I know this is a relatively new unit or at least new to Amazon.I took a gamble and bought it with only 3 reviews that were paid. And it seems to have paid off!
