Exceptional performance for the money
I'm a systems engineer and I was sceptical about this at first due to the price. What I can say is this is a brilliant piece of equipment. It's plug and play, easy to setup with clear instructions. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that this actually a TPLink unit behind the branding. Tested speeds on my 1gb line over WiFi: 890mbps download 600mbps upload No frills in terms of design but it does the job exceptionally well and for the price you could not ask for more. If like me you've tripped over your assigned router from your ISP and broken it but don't wish to spend £100 replacing it, just buy this!

Mercusys (It’s budget TP Link but just as good)
Don’t let the brand put you off, purchased this router for a project at a great price. For those that don’t know Mercusys is part of TP Link and in my opinion just as good quality, this has been fitted for 6 months + and I’ve had no complaints from the customer. This was used as an access point / extension from the original router due to the size of the building and there has been no loss of speed. WiFi signal is great, super easy to setup and change any settings. As far as budget routers go this is a great bit of kit for what I needed it for and wouldn’t hesitate to buy another !

This router is excellent, has everything I needed & more
I brought it to replace the eero 7 pro that my ISP provided, it bothered me that WiFi could not be turned off on it. I'm glad I did, it was a snap to set up and I'm getting a faster connection via LAN to my computer now than i did with the eero 7. It's highly configurable and has everything I could possibly want in a router & then some, all at a very reasonable price.

Very strong long range signal.
I bought this to replace the one received from toob which was completely useless i couldn't get wifi upstairs in a small house. So this one is way better. I have full signal even in my garden now, even on the road when sitting in the car. For it's price this is amazing. However, even with cat8 cable, i can't get 1000mbps. I could get that on cable using old router each time i tested was a bit over 1000. With this one,top I'm getting is 800mbps. Which is a shame cause advertised speed is 1 gigabit. If you're fine with that, then go for it. I decided this 200mbps doesn't make much difference and I'll keep it cause i got it in offer and any alternative is at least double the price.

Fast, strong, but incompatible with Halo Mesh.
Really good little router. Bought to replace a BT SmartHub, which it does very well. Produces a strong, fast WiFi signal. Proved very easy to set-up. One word of warning, whilst it uses EasyMesh, it's sadly not Mesh compatible with the Mercursys Halo system, which would be the icing on the cake.

Excellent.
This is my main router. Had it for quite a while and it's excellent. Paired with an ethernet switch for extra ports I can't fault it.

Returned as no longer needed.
Purchased along with an WiFi extender in case that didn't work. It was at a cheaper price than other as it was on offer. Not needed so returned it unopened Needed to put a star to submit this report.

Slow WiFi. Non-existent customer support.
I have this router configured as an access point, dedicated to serving my Quest 3 Virtual Desktop with a 6GHz band link to my home network. My internet is a solid 2.2Gbps upload and download, but speedtest through this router won't go above 1800Mbps download and it's even worse for upload speeds. I have replaced cables with new, and swapped between my existing router and this one and eliminated them as the issue. All cables are fine, and my network switch is working perfectly. The only possible bottleneck is the MR47BE. I tired going through Mercusys support and contacting them, but I haven't had any response at all for a few days. I have also spent a few hours going through the router configuration, double checking every option with Google AI, but I can't get anywhere near the claimed WiFi speed.
