Overall, the product quality was good. However, the clamp was not compatible with my Maruti Suzuki Alto, as it felt quite unstable, which is why I had to return it. On rough roads, the phone tended to slip out because of the wobbling. That said, the material quality was good, and the installation process was simple and straightforward.

The phone release mechanism stopped working well for me after about 8 months of use. So it’s not made to last very long, however at the price, I feel it justified the cost. The grip is good and it holds the phone in place. This should be compatible with most phones out there. Not suitable for tablets. The feature of rotating it in any direction is good, but I personally just use this in portrait mode.

I have purchased Clamp-Z and i have Alto K10 1st Gen. The metal part of this holder which gets attached to the ac vent plastic is a little bit long for my car because of the old type ac vents. But there is a plastic part which is a bit far from the front of the vent, i attached this with that part and it got fitted perfectly. Why i told this much because if you are going to buy this holder, go for Clamp-Z, avoid Clamp-Y. Because Clamp-Z is very sturdy as it has the metal part which holds it and Clamp-Y has the plastic part that holds the phone and that breaks easily. And in short if you want to buy this, go for it you won't regret because the quality is very impressive. Just find the place early where you want to place this. Thank you for your time. Quality is good, ordered Clamp Z for Suzuki Brezza. And it is perfectly fit to the AC vent. It is sturdy when mobile is attached to it. Will add after using this for some days

Portronics Clamp Y Tested on Honda City & Toyota Fortuner Good build quality, no adhesive as it grips into the AC vents near the steering. Very easy to fix and remove, adjustable viewing angle, looks good too. Durable grip as well as push button quick release for phone. Universal, should fit on any four-wheeler with an AC vent near steering wheel. Search in youtube for "Portronics Clamp Y" (Y part is important) and you'll get many reviews and video tutorials on how to set it up. 5/5 for item 5/5 for amazon
