Gorgeous necklace! It seems to be quite durable, as I have accidentally yanked on it several times and have not damaged it at all. The base of the pendant always stays tight too. And the scent from my oils is wonderful. Sometimes I’ll forget I’m wearing it until I move and get a whiff of it.

The necklace is completely scratched, it looks like it was dragged on the floor on purpose

The chain is long and it very cute. I get so many compliments on it. I love the fact that they give you a few wicks. Great price!

Love having this pendant. My skin eats perfume, so I wanted a way to carry some with me. The pendant is pretty and alluring. I use it with the included pads or with some lava beads - which I prefer. I had to get beads that were 6mm or smaller to fit this. The beads absorb a lot of perfume and diffuse over a longer period. PROS: + This is pretty & simple. It looks nice but isn't showy. I can wear it daily without calling too much attention to it. + It was easy to set it up. The clasp is good and easy to open and close for myself. + It closes tightly (though I have a habit of checking that it hasn't unscrewed or loosened) + Nice that it comes with some pads. The colors give it a variety of looks. + When I run out of pads, I can use my small lava rocks instead. + I like the design I chose & love that there are others available. CONS: - The biggest problem I have is that this is not nearly as long on me as shown in the product photos. I wish that it hung another couple of inches down. Overall, I do like this a lot. I really was bothered though about the length. BTW, 316L stands for medical grade stainless steel. I did not know that before now.

Works very well and stays closed tight. Very pretty. It doesn't tangle in my fine hair. I wear it all the time, for a week now. I like this model, with less holes, because it protects my skin and clothes, and my cats, better against bad reactions. I wipe the outside with alcohol after pad-refills with an irritating or photosensitizing oil. Also this prevents the necklace from discoloration due to corrosive essential oils on metal. I can smell it for 12-24 hours before a refresh is needed when using undiluted orange essential oil (a short-lasting scent. Other scents will last a lot longer -- days even.) These could be used with perfume too for people who don't want it on their skin or clothes. You can take it off around sensitve people, or when around bugs, and still smell good when desired. No need to carry delicate perfume bottles around. You can also keep the scent pads in individual zip lock bags or bottles, or a small glass vile. You could store the necklace in a new bag in your purse, so the scent doesn't wear off before you use it (but make sure oil doesn't leak onto the necklace.) From 20 years experience with oils: You're not supposed to use more than 2-4 drops of essential oil on the scent pad. If the necklace leaks you're using way, way too much! More oil doesn't last any longer. It's very strong, and can irritate your skin, and some also cause VERY BAD SUN BURNS (2nd-degree in 10 mintutes with 1/2 drop of birgamot on the back of my hand.) So you don't want it to leak. You need to apply 2-4 drops on the scent pad before putting it into the pendant (on a cloth or tissue perhaps, or a glass dish.) Clean the inside and outside with Q-tips and alcohol before switching scents to keep them pure (or buy several?) Use a new pad for a new scent. (Smelling mint when trying to get to sleep with lavendar would keep you awake!) Try mixing them in an empty bottle first to get the right proportions. A Less effective cheat: You could drop them onto a glass dish and stir them with the scent pad or glass stirring stick. (Never plastic or metal because essential oil is corrosive, and plastic holds on to bacteria and odors. Stainless steel can be used, though, if washed immediately, very well. NEVER USE REAL SILVER, COPPER, BRASS, OR PLATED METALS. They will be ruined. Not sure about aluminum and tin. Many things chemically react with them so I wouldn't risk it.) I've had dimes and nickels corrode in diluted essential oil spilled on a dresser after a month. My new plastic spray bottles for water or alcohol essential oil mixes always stop spraying due to the plastic breaking down. Wash your hands or use tweazers so that you don't rub essential oil in your eye or on sensitive skin. That way you don't get leaks and the oil doesn't touch your skin or delicate clothes (which can be discolored.) I bought this necklace specifically because it pictured a smooth chain and lobster clasp. I have fine hair and most chains get tangled in my hair. Lobster clasps, if they close completely, are also better about not wrapping my hair into little knots that can only be ripped out of my head. This chain and clasp are, indeed, very smooth, as pictured -- no tangles after sleeping in it for a week. I wanted a personal diffuser because I have cats and essential oils can make them sick. I use citrus oils and clary sage to help with depression and energy. I also use rosemary and peppermint for stress relief and focus (calming, refeshing, yet invigorating.) I use lavendar for sleep. Bonus: All of these also repel flies (house flies in my case,) and possibly mosquitoes (I eat lots of garlic so mosquitoes never touch me, therfore I can't personally say if they are repelled by any oils.) (Also, I've never tried citrus against bugs. The other oils worked, but wore off quickly. I'm hoping the necklace will last longer than a water-spray, or applied to skin? When camping I may try all 3 methods, plus a fan and candles if things are bad.) No green/black marks on my skin so far so the chain seems to be good quality. I like that the color of the pads don't show very much inside this model. This allows me to use snipped Q-tip ends as extra scent pads in the future if I don't feel like hunting down more. I also don't have to coordinate colors with my outfit. Great neclace! Very useful. Great price. No complaints so far. I think I'll be buying more for various purposes, and family members (like camping.)
