Great action camera although the 13 model lacks the manual zoom which the 7 had. I guess it's something to do withvlens they try and sell separate. No complaints about performance, the picture quality and sound are great. One big plus for me was the ability to pair with the DJI Mic 2 for better quality narrative.

I bought this to replace an old waterproof camera and I wish I had done it much sooner. An expensive gadget and to make full use of it you will need to buy some accessories, but worth it in my opinion. Its small size means you hardly know it’s there. I took it kayaking on the chest strap and got beautiful clear footage with good sound. One battery lasted more than 3 hours filming on and off. Looking forward to taking it snorkeling to try out the waterproof case and filters.

I bought the GoPro Hero 13 earlier this year, at no small cost, because it’s marketed as a premium, professional-grade action camera that doesn’t need a housing to be waterproof. That turned out to be a complete lie. On my holiday in the Maldives, the battery/SD compartment flooded during ordinary use in the sea — exactly the environment GoPro advertises as safe. The result? SD errors, corrupted footage, and now a camera that won’t even power on. My trip has been ruined because I can’t take or even view the water photos and videos I came here for. If a camera is expensive and claims waterproofing, it should actually work — not rely on fragile little seals that fail at the first opportunity. And if it really needs a case to be safe, then GoPro should be honest and sell it that way, rather than mislead customers with marketing that doesn’t hold up in real-world use. Professionals know better — they always use a housing. But GoPro keeps pushing the “no housing needed” line, leaving ordinary buyers to learn the hard (and very costly) way. I’ll never buy another GoPro. If you want a camera that works reliably in the water, save yourself the frustration and look at any other alternatives. At least you’ll get transparency about what you’re buying.

The 5.7K video quality is stunning — super sharp and smooth. Took it snorkeling and it performed perfectly underwater. Totally waterproof and tough.

GOPRO 13 : Excellente action cam, rien à redire de ce côté là, de très bonne facture, robuste et facile d'utilisation. La connexion au smatphone est également très simple et fluide afin de récupérer vos vidéos pour les poster sur vos réseaux par exemple. - Quid de la GOPRO 12 : - L'autonomie de la 13 bien améliorée donc gros plus par rapport à la 12, - L'image est vraiment sensiblement la même, je ne vois pas de différence avec la 12, - les "nouveautés" que sont la position GPS et l'affichage de la vitesse sont pas vraiment utiles pour ma part (je filme surtout à moto et sous l'eau) de plus cette fonction était dispo sur la 11, puis retirée de la 12, pour être recyclée ici... - Les batteries de la 12 ne sont pas compatibles donc il faudra en racheter (à prévoir dans le budget car une batterie c'est vraiment trop juste) CONCLUSION : Excellente action cam pour s'équiper, mais pas utile si vous avez déjà la 12 ! Si vous n'avez pas de GoPro, allez y, si vous voulez faire des économies prenez la 12 c'est véritablement la même hormis l'autonomie qui est améliorée sur la 13.

Dans le premier colis pas de camera mais heureusement le service client est au top. Maintenant je les ai eue et vivement les vidéo future
