I love the Novation Launchkey MK4 61 keys. I sold my Korg Kross 2 and replaced it with Novation Launchkey MK4 with Roland sonic cell. What an unbelievable combination for liveset. Nice keyboard feel and response and much better piano sound samples as compared to the Korg Kross 2 built in sounds. The keys are good enough to make some dynamics on you playing this instrument. It's a night and day difference as compared to the Korg Kross 2 61 keys, and that korg Kross 2 keybed feels like a toy as compared to the Novation Launchkey MK4 61 keys. I would give this a 9.5 out of 10 for the design and useability of this midi keyboard. I now understand the hype reviews on YouTube about this midi controller. Knobs and faders feels quality too. The keyboard is under 5kg which is a dream to just carry this on gigs. The slight concern on this keyboard is the USB-C port. I feel like if you are always plugging and unplugging this everyday, that USB-C port will be the first to give way. But time will tell if this can last a daily plugging and unplugging for years. The price of 255 pounds for this 61 keys I think made a big difference in terms of it's sales and popularity as this is a better midi controller for most controllers out there but with a much reasonable price.

We did a lot of research before buying this keyboard. The keys feel good but obviously not the same as a "real" piano. However the sliders and knobs feel really nice. Easy to download the bundled software. My husband has started to use the Melodics application which is a rhythm-based learning platform for MIDI keyboards and after his first lesson, he was left with a big smile on his face! This keyboard is excellent value for money (we paid £255). We hope Novation put a USB switch in the next edition as we have to unplug this from our laptop every time we finish.

Great value for money.

I wanted a 61 not keyboard that would not only fit under my workstation desk but would also have a good feel and that included faders and pads. The Novation Launchkey is perfect and has many functions that I didn't realise I needed until I had them. The perfect keyboard for when you don't want / can't be bothered to get up and go over to your main keyboard! Would give it 10 stars.

Easy to set up. Easy to program. Lots of bang for your buck.

Avoid this product. The idea is ok but it's not implemented very well. I updated my mac and since then it wont work. So feels like money wasted. The keys and build of the hardware is poor cheap flimsy crap. SO AVOID. It's worth spending your money elsewhere. I've owned countless midi controllers and keyboards over the years and this is by far the worst ever.

Great midi device, works well with Abelton, a lot to learn and as Im new to Abelton and midi controllers Im yet to delve fully into its capabilities. Quite a bit of free downloads and tones of stuff available to buy all purchased, It was initially marked as delivered with me receiving a package for another address and not this item, this was sorted out with a replacement organised to be shipped free of charge. Then the day that the replacement was organised I received the item. Great customer service, took 3-5 days to clear up the undelivered item issue and have a replacement organised free of charged.

A perfect workhorse for the modern producer. It seemlessly works together with Cubase. As a pianist/producer, I found the keys absolutely playable and it's light and travels easily.

Buen teclado, tiene muchas funciones útiles y se conecta con los DAW fácilmente, al comienza cuesta un poco conocer como funcionan todos los botones te tomará un par de días entenderlo, también tendrás que conocer la integración con los DAW y plugins pero solo es cuestión de tiempo. Quizá los únicos problemas que encontré es que el teclado se enciende cada vez que se enciende el PC no hay botón de encendido o apagado (recomiendo comprar un cable usb interruptor), aunque puedes ponerlo en modo stand by pero no es muy cómodo y el otro problema es que si te mueves rápido entre aplicaciones, plugins etc, hay que ir configurando el teclado con forme la marcha mediante combinaciones de botones para que se adapte a lo que estas haciendo, mixer, drums, plugin, daw, etc.

Ottimo controller midi, funzioni programmabili, pesatura tasti buona (molto meglio di Arturia) e ottimo supporto da parte di Novation in caso di dubbi (mi hanno contattato più volte per una mia richiesta di chiarimenti). Top. Da rimarcare l'introduzione degli encoder infiniti rispetto alla MK3, così da agganciare al volo il valore del pan pot o di altri parametri.

One of the best keyboards/controllers on the market for this price range. It arrived with its original box and the delivery was smooth. The installation of the software (I'm on macOS) is quite straightforward, as well as the first firmware update. No problems to integrate it with Ableton Live, and the provided software bundle is a good starting point for aspiring producers. I really recommend it if you're looking for more than a MIDI keyboard. The drum pads are the same of the Launchpad series, and the half-weighted keys do their job if you're not a pianist. The only issue (if we want to call it so) is that there is no way with the management software to set the volume faders to reach maximum 0db in Ableton Live, unless you map them in Live, but in this case you will lose the navigation features. However, it's an issue that is not only related to this keyboard.
