Why are these not made of food grade stainless steel? dont like the thought of vaping aluminium!

The Dosing Capsules are made of Aluminium to ensure steady and fast heat-up of the material – all materials are food-safe and heat resistant.

Aluminium provides a consistent application and distribution of heat and also it is easier to control to be uniform. If they used stainless whilst this can heat up effectively, the process isn't as consistent.

Stainless steel requires more energy to achieve the same result, wasting battery life faster. Also stainless steel is prone to warping under high heat so again not ideal.

Storz & Bickel provide quality parts and their choice of the food grade Aluminium is more than satisfactory for the role of the dosing capsule.

would I need to by the reducer to use these in the pleny /

Yes, you'll need the reducer, but honestly it's worth every single penny - much prefer these for a smaller dose than to using the liquid pad in the Plenty. Ignore all comments about these being poor quality (not sure what people expect for the price!), they can be a little flimsy but if you treat them gently, I must have reused each of mine at least ten times! Trick is to apply the right pressure to get the lid off, and make sure you keep them clean. Hope that helps!

yes! they just need regular cleaning in isopropyl alcohol.

If you buy the keyring it stores 4 chanbers with an airtight lock. Really useful for taking outdoors in public places without attracting too much attention with that herb odour.
Definitely buy them to save your vape chamber, otherwise you will need to clean your vape chamber every couple of days.

Safety warning. Let them cool before refilling them!
