This is a super-duper leash. We have a Newfoundland who doesn't care for a pinch collar and it's cumbersome getting him into a harness. This leash slips on easily and the cinch-nature allows for a correction without hurting him. Best of all worlds. He's only a puppy at 16 months and 145 lbs, but this gives me control and he likes going out for walks now and showing off.

Our pit bulls head is smaller than her neck, making it easy to slip out of her collar. I tried harnesses, too, but she was able to escape. This leash is great. When Ella tries to back out of it, it cinches around her neck and she is not able to escape. The handle is both comfortable and sturdy.

These are perfect for when I take my Huskies to/from vet or day care. East to put on and take off. Secure.

I really like this slip lead. It is very high quality, like all Ruffwear gear. But like most other brands, it still requires adjustment from time to time, especially if you’re training your dog not to pull. However, the silicone stops are much better than others. The lead handle is very comfortable in your hand. And the bonus slot loop in the handle for storing poop bags, gloves, etc. is very convenient.

This versatile leash has many uses. The leak can be standard or configured to go over the nose similar to the gentle leader. The leash is comfortable in hand and is easy to get on the dog and use. This is one of my favorite leashes. A+

This leash is easy to slip over my dog’s head, with the loop size controlled by slides that stay in place. No snaps are required. The leash fabric is soft and smooth, the leash is lightweight, and the handle is comfortable. Because both my dog and I are older but trail walk daily, I need a leash only for a short distance or if quick restraint is necessary.

I have another model of ruffwear leash that has a flat handle to hold onto and it’s extremely comfortable. This one bothered me because the handle is round. It’s also a little bulky. Not my favorite ruff wear item I have and I have a few things from them. Returned it for those reasons.

Good quality as usual from Ruffwear! I got this because I wanted a comfortable soft and thick handle so my hands would be comfortable. I also like the simplicity of a slip lead and the adjustable 2 rubber stoppers so you can control how much slack is in the loop around the dog's neck. (Side note of advice from being an experienced dog owner: Be sure to have enough slack so it is loose enough and not tight so you can give quick tugs for corrections to redirect behavior, and keep the dog comfortable when you release tension.)
