Beetles 15 ml Gel Base and Top Coat with 20ml Nail Dehydrator and Primer

I bought this Beetles kit because I wanted my gel manicures at home to last longer without lifting after only a few days. It has everything needed in one set: nail dehydrator, primer, base gel, and top coat, so I did not have to buy each product separatelyThe dehydrator and primer made a noticeable difference in how well the gel adhered to my natural nails. I used thin layers, cured the base and top coat under my UV/LED lamp, and my manicure came out smooth, shiny, and much more professional-looking. The top coat gives a beautiful glossy finish and has held up well through handwashing and everyday chores.I also like that the bottles are a good size and the products are easy to apply without running all over the nail. This is a great starter kit for anyone doing gel nails or acrylic manicures at home. I would definitely buy it again because it makes the prep process easier and helped my manicure stay neat much longer.

Great set. I do my nails at home and this set has made a huge difference. I love the shine of the top coat. I’m a hairdresser so my nails don’t last as long because I’m in water at the shampoo bowl so much, on top or chemicals. But this lasts for 2 weeks without chipping. I can easily soak it off with acetone for 5 minutes and and start fresh. Takes me 15 minutes to do my nails and saves me $40 each time.

This is my new secret weapon to get my home manicures more durable and shiny. I’ve been using it since August and this polish is simply the best no-wipe top coat available! It works perfectly even over regular polish! It goes on beautifully and looks just as shiny when it’s dried as it does when it’s wet. Never any bubbles or lumps. The consistency is a bit thick so it takes some practice/effort to get thin coats applied but you can do it. Also, it’s very forgiving so you can do a little touch up in one area while it’s wet without ruining the nail. It has almost no odor. I’m using it with an inexpensive LED device but it still dries in 60-120 seconds. As long as you’re applying it to fully dried polish it will work over anything. I most frequently apply a quick dry base coat, then 2 coats of InstaDry color, then two thin coats of this top gel. It’s like the best quick non-gel mani, it will last for at least two weeks, and it is much easier to remove. In the photos I posted, I have done the routine I mentioned except I slept on my wet nails before doing the top coat and they had sheet marks all over them. Not to fear! A quick coat of this gel and 60 seconds later they now have a perfectly smooth finish. Mani totally rescued. This stuff is amazing!

It took some getting used to to finally like this product but I really like Beetles and it helps to add a little hard gel after the design because it is really thick. I would like it to be a bit thinner to be easier to use. Overall good product.

This works with my Target Olive and June LED lamp to set on a one minute timer. I’m on my second bottle. It gets thick over time. Please make sure you apply in a very thin coat and careful not to let it pool in the side of your nails and around your cuticle. You can always apply a second thin coat. It last but it’s hard to remove. You will need acetone soaked cotton balls and nail clamps or foil to hold it on for a while. 10 minutes usually does the trick.

This 3D gel is hard to create anything seen in their nail art example photos. I've had to use a brush dipped in alcohol to move the product around because it's so thick. It works for some art, cures just fine under my UV light and holds up.
