2026 FOXWELL NT630 Plus OBD2 Scanner with ABS and SRS, ABS Code Reader Auto Bleed Scan Tool Brake SRS Scanner, Car Scanner Diagnostic Tool Bidirectional Live Data with SAS Oil Check Engine Light Reset

I bought this to keep in the glove box of my 2006 RX-8. I thought all OBD-II scanners sold lately were equipped with ABS, SRS & other diagnostic functions, but it doesn't seem so. This was on sale with $20 off, so I bought it. This is to keep in the glove box of my 2006 RX-8, and for this purpose this tool would suffice. Tried it, and the auto VIN works and other functions are easy to navigate through. For high-end shops, this may not suffice but for home mechanics or those who do not wish to spend thousands of $$$ at a dealer/shop, this would save you a fortune. For Honda/Acura owners, note that Honda uses unique protocol for accessing control modules for ECU, ABS, SRS & what not. Even some Snap-on diagnostic tablets seem to have difficulty communicating with Honda vehicles. I have an Actron CP9580A in the dash of my 2004 Acura TL. The Actron is near-perfect tool for the majority of non-professionals in that it is loaded with all- system diagnostic functions (except for BODY/CAN systems). Unfortunately, it is no longer available and I bought mine in 2014 at $230. It also has x3 AAA batteries, as well as use vehicle battery power, while this Foxwell only uses vehicle battery, so you cannot power it unless it is connected to a vehicle or a PC. If the Actron was still available, that would have been the one I bought. However, at this price this Foxwell is also a good value. My main diagnostic platform is Autel Maxisys MS906BT (BlueTooth, so you can use it via wireless). This lets me do everything that an HDS (Honda Diagnostic System used at Honda & Acura dealers) can do, including ECU & duplicate key programming (an HDS is about $10,000 I believe). The Autel was about $1,300 and you may think it's over-priced, but several dealer visits would pay it off. I work as an airline plane tech, so the Autel is no rocket science (anyone who uses smart phones/tablets can use it with no hassle). Besides, the Autel is not just a diagnostic tablet but can function as, well, a tablet so it comes with Chrome & other tablet functions (the OS is Android). For such system, $1,200 was a serious bargain for me. You can also connect borescope camera, has USB 2.0 & mini-USB interface as well as micro SD slot. It is one of the best investments I made for my vehicles. The only issue is that the free software update is for 1 year, and after that you have to pay monthly subscription fees to access updates for a price. However, neither of my vehicles needs updates so it does not affect me. Newer vehicles may come with systems that a hand-held scanner is of little help, but Autel with updates would be able to resolve just about any issues. Update on 6/26/24: The seller is serious about making sure the customers are satisfied with their purchases. If you're not satisfied for any reason, this seller would make sure that you are 100% happy. I have been an Amazon customer for 24 years, and OBDZON, the seller, is by far THE BEST I've come across.

I was having problems with a “soft” brake pedal on my 2007 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited. Although it had always had a softer brake pedal than I prefer from day one, it suddenly went from soft to almost to the floor for an unknown reason. Vacuum assist worked great so that part was okay. So then I went the usual way of chasing parts…got a new master cylinder, bench bled it, installed it and put all new fluid in the master cylinder and all the lines. But, still no change! Bled all 4 wheels (in proper sequence) at least 4 times and no change! The pads had less than 10k miles on them and they still looked new. No leaking of brake lines or calipers or stuck calipers, so I was in a real quandary! Exhausted all the remedies suggested by the “experts” on the internet (some of them being totally absurd, some were “well duh” like I'm stupid and some of simple mindlessness). I almost gave up and resigned myself to become a “pedal-pumper”…something my wife totally objected to being herself. So, it was either drop $60 grand for a new Wrangler for her or get my a%% in gear and get it fixed. The only thing left was the ABS system…something I confess to not knowing much about and probably could not fix and knew was probably very expensive to fix. So, I did more in-depth technical research and came upon the idea that maybe it was just air in the ABS system. But, how do I bleed the ABS system? More research and more stupid answers on the internet, so what am I going to do? Although, there were no trouble lights indicating ABS problems (yes, the bulbs lit up on ignition/start-up diagnostics), maybe it was worth a try to get a diagnostics done. So, I asked around and found out that the stealership would do that, but just for the diagnostics it would be around $175 and 2 or 3 days of waiting around for them to “around to it”. Then probably a grand or two to fix it (they don't just fix it, they replace the whole system) and more waiting around! More internet research! Finally, I did find some info about scanners that could autobleed ABS systems…what? Yeah, it was true and specifically information this FOXWELL NT630 Plus scanner! Could this be true? I contacted FOXWELL just to make sure that it would do an ABS autobleed and specifically on my Wrangler? They responded immediately with an affirmative, and also gave me a ton of other info about how to upgrade this unit to the latest software and such off of their website. I mean, they are customer-oriented to the max! I thought to myself that this is a no-brainer as this unit would cost me less than a diagnostic session at the stealership and I would have a scanner of my own! So, I ordered it, updated the firmware with the FOXWELL latest software upgrades and attached it to my Wrangler's OBD. Yeah, I was a bit nervous, but I did exactly what the video and written instructions told me to do, followed the on-screen dialogue and what happened next absolutely floored me. As the FOXWELL NT630 Plus went through it's diagnostics and repair sequence, there were some noises coming from under the hood and my brake pedal vibrated (just like the instructions said would happen). I then shut everything down as instructed by the on-screen dialogue and disconnected the unit from the OBD. Started the engine again and stepped on the brake pedal and nearly fell to the floor. The brake pedal was back with more firmness than ever before and now 3 months later, still as firm as it was after this unit fixed the ABS system! Thank you, FOXWELL…for a great product and really great customer support! Thanks for saving me literally thousand$ of dollars! I am so grateful! I am not a spokesman for this company, am not an employee of this company, nor did anyone ask me for a positive review. This is a real review from real results that I got from using this scanner...period!!

Worked better than I thought. Bought it originally to do an electronic ABS brake bleed on a 03 Chevy Silverado. . Only giving 4 stars because the instructions are not very clear as is the website. Thought it was a plug and play unit. When I got it, it made me go to a website, plug it into my laptop to register it for its updates. It kinda made it sound like I couldn’t use it unless I did so. After 20 mins of frustration, I was going to return it. Instead I just went to the vehicle and tried it. It worked flawlessly.. If you ever had a scan tool as a professional, it will be a breeze. It’s easy for diy as well. Easy to navigate and packed with features you only get on a high end scanner I would highly recommend this scanner as a backup for the pro, and a go to for the diy. Just be patient with the initial setup. I’ve had high end scanners that I paid thousands for, and for under $200, it did the job. The price was less than I would have spent going to a shop and having them do the work,,,and I still have the scanner for the future use. A win win.

I bought the FOXWELL NT630 Plus after watching lots of YT videos, thinking I’d use it once, clear a code, and toss it in the glove box. Instead, this little orange gadget has turned me a “car whisperer.” The first time I plugged it in, I expected a confusing mess of menus and codes that looked like alien language. But it was surprisingly easy to use. Within minutes, I found the ABS issue that had been haunting my dashboard for weeks. A quick fix later, the light was gone, and I avoided what would’ve probably been a very expensive “diagnostic fee” at the shop. What I love most is that it doesn’t just spit out codes and leave you guessing. It actually tells you what’s going on in plain English. That alone makes it worth the money. The buttons feel solid, the screen is clear, and it doesn’t feel like a cheap gadget that’ll die after two uses. Is it going to magically fix your car? No. But will it tell you exactly what’s wrong so you don’t walk into a repair shop blind? Absolutely. And that’s a powerful feeling. If you own a car and like saving money, this thing pays for itself the first time you use it. I went from “person who knows nothing about cars” to “person who says ‘let me scan that real quick’” and honestly, that’s pretty fun. Highly recommend!!

Did the online update, and when I had my first chance to try it out after doing a Complete Front & Rear Brake Job (All New Calipers, Rotors and Pads)on my 2005 GMC Sierra 3500, it recognized my Vin automatically when I first plugged it in, I then preformed the Auto Bleed, and my Brakes that were once Spongy even after doing a Two person bleed two times on all 4 Wheels, Firmed right just like new. Now for "BAD NEWS" for some reason when I tried to use the other features I kept getting "Cannot recognize this vehicle", EVEN though as I stated above that when I first plugged it in and did a Vin Auto search it recognized my GMC Truck and show all the Info, Calls and Emails to the company have never been returned, so there is "NO HELP" from FOXWEll what so ever. I would like to say that I paid $144.00 for this Scanner and since it is a couple months past the purchased date I cannot return it, But it did preform the Brake Bleed Correctly, And I figure that it would have cost me $350.00+ to have it done at a Dealer or Garage, so I Broke even even though it is now a USELESS Paper Weight, I suggest you search for a more reliable Scanner and Better Brand, that has REAL Customer Support, And stay away from FOXWELL, because after reading the reviews, it appears that their Scanners are Hit or Miss among people who purchase them. (UPDATE 08/25/23) Well like I mentioned above it preformed the Auto Brake Bleed Perfectly, but none of the other features worked, then the other day I got a Service Airbag Warning on my DIC + the little Red Icon stayed lite up, the GM STEALERS wanted 0ver $200.00 just to hook up their Code Reading Computer, so I decided to Break out the Foxwell and see if it could find the problem, but before I hooked it up I went to their Web Site and did a Complete UPDATE, and that did the trick, Once I hooked it up and hit the Airbag Feature on he Foxwell it captured the Trouble Code "B0104" #2 Front Impact Sensor, and with it I went to YouTube and entered it and found the location of the Front Airbag Impact Sensor, The Stealers wanted $385.00 justfor the Part, and another $300.00 in labor, I found one at my local NAPA for $124.90, Went to YouTube and look at a couple more Videos on how to replace it, and with just two Sockets and a Small Screw Driver, I had the Old one out and the New One with in 20 minutes and no more Trouble Light, The Scanner only cost me $118.00 and it has already saved me well over $1200.00 Dollars.

The NT630 OBDII Scanner works right out of the box; that is, it powers up and can be connected to the car and read VIN and other DTC's automatically or on command. However it does not seem to be able to do any Automated ABS Brake Bleed tests, at least not on Mazda. It has a laborious menu of different sub-functions of an ABS modulator; but unfortunately without detailed engineering knowledge of the specific ABS module on a car, I am not even sure even if one had that detailed information whether one would be able to effectively Bleed the ABS Control Module. I think the device manufacturer makes false claims about what can be supported by the ABS Bleed. Note I am not categorically stating that there may be a few cars in their list of support where Automated ABS Bleed is possible. It's likely that some cars can be ABS Bled with this unit. However there is no indication in the user manual or their website on exactly which cars can be effectively have their brakes bled in this manner. I wasted a lot of time... waiting for this to arrive and then trying to get it to work. Also there is a real scarcity of useful videos that demonstrate the ABS Bleed function for this unit. So I am leery after my experience about what this device is really capable of. One would imagine that an OBDII scanner that is specifically touted as an ABS Module Brake Bleeder, should have videos that explicitly demonstrate that feature on a variety of cars, or at least have a list of cars on which this feature is explicitly supported. I am terribly disappointed. The advice I give potential buyers is question the data you get from the manufacturer and understand exactly what the tool can do for you before purchase. Just reading ABS fault codes and toggling inlet and outlet brake ports may not be the solution to what you need to do. For what I have experienced, I would try to give a ZERO. The good thing I experienced, is the seller was prompt. Got the product in 2 days.

My Kia was having some really weird, intermittent issues that neither my mechanic nor even the Kia dealership could figure out. No fault codes were being saved in the system, and for some reason my car would only act up when I was driving it. (Typical) I bought this as a desperate last resort before trading my car in and it finally gave me a code that ended up helping me find the issue: crankshaft position sensor. The code it gave was for a more general error: (CAN bus), but after doing a bit of research, I created a list of things for my mechanic to check, and crankshaft position sensor was on that list. Which I still consider awesome because previously even the experts came up completely empty handed. I was afraid it would be harder to use, but it’s exceptionally beginner friendly and works well. Definitely keeping in case I ever get any more monkey business.

I purchased the Foxwell NT630 Plus scanner to replace an older ODB2 only scanner I was using. Overall I like the unit but there are some negative points that made using it difficult. First the positives: The price was great, cost less than my previous scanner with many more features. The SRS and ABS diagnostics work well, once you figure out how to use them. A nice feature is being able to graph real time data like engine RPM or per wheel speed. You can also monitor the real-time status of all the SRS and ABS sensors to aid in troubleshooting and repair. And of course, you can use this tool to clear those error codes and calibrate sensors once a repair is made. The scanner also came with a nice hard case for storage. I've used the scanner a couple times now to diagnose and repair/calibrate a TCS error light and isolate a SRS fault with great success. And the negatives: Top of the list is the poor documentation, the manual shipped with the unit is minimal and not easy to follow. Reading through the manual or quick start guide you can find a web site where you can setup an account and download a more through manual. But good luck navigating the web site as it’s not well organized. You’ll also find navigating the menus within the tool confusing. Figuring out how to reset codes or graph monitors was confusing, even with the updated documentation I downloaded. In addition, the cable shipped with the device wouldn’t connect to my standard ODB2 car port (tried it on 3 cars). I ended up purchasing a replacement ODB2 connector on Amazon, cutting the cable that I was shipped, and installing the new connector to get it to work. I did open a trouble ticket for the cable issue through the Foxwell web site but after 6 days hadn’t received a response. They don’t provide an email address for support and the only phone number listed was their China headquarters number, which I didn't want to call. I ended up purchasing a new replacement connector on Amazon for $6 and fixing the issue myself. The scanner works well, it's just difficult to navigate the menus using the poor user manual. Foxwell would do well to pay a mechanic or skilled user to write an "ODB2 Scanner for Dummies" how-to guide for this tool.

Bin zufrienden mit dem Teil, bei den Updates sollte man schauen ob man alles wirklich braucht und dann abwählen. Wärend bei den meisten Automarken es sich um ein paar KB bis MB handelt sind es z.B. bei BMW gleich mal über 900 MB. das muss man sich ja nicht antun, wenn man keinen BMW hat, da das die Zeit des Udatevorganges enorm verlängert. Sobald der Stecker drin ist geht die Kiste an und los gehts. Hat mir viel Geld gespart, da ich so wusste, dass ich eine neue Lambdasonde brauche und auch welche und dass mein Airbag nach dem Wiedereinbau einen Kurzen hatte. Da wär ich sonst nie drauf gekommen. Das ist nämlich Absicht vom Hersteller, die Kontakte werden beim Ausbau, bzw abziehen des Steckers mechanisch auf Kurzschluss gestell, damit er bei versehentlichem Kontakt mit einem Stromführenden Kabel nicht auslöst. Da muss man erst mal drauf kommen! Ohne das Teil hätte ich den Airbag weggeschmissen oder wär ein die Werkstatt. Beides hätte sicherlich viele hundert Euro gekostet.

This scanner does what it says it will do. Having had two disappointments with other brands, the Foxwell NT630 Elite enabled me to reset the airbag codes on my BMW E87. Solid device with substantial case and good instruction book.

Very painful menu structure. With endurance you can find your way around. After finding what you are looking it very easy to follow test instructions. I used it mainly to find a defective wheel speed sensor and fix the problem. Nice graphing capabilities to view and compare two wheel sensors against each other. I will also be using the EPB reset feature which is in the menu to complete the rear brakes pads replacement soon.

Attention, il faut commander ce produit par rapport à son utilité et ses fonctions et surtout l’année de la voiture car il prend pas tout je l’ai, je l’ai renvoyé préférez le 680 ou 80 plus

Just the job, shows plenty of information. Updates easily. Best I've had so far and I've had a few. Well pleased.
