Overall, assembling the bed took two people about an hour and a half. There are many parts and steps involved, which is expected for a piece of this size. The instructions were mostly easy to follow, though you need to pay close attention to the orientation of the pieces. I appreciated that all the screws were clearly labeled by size, and the parts were marked with stickers indicating their numbers. Additionally, the main pieces had "this way UP" stickers, which saved time. A nice touch was that the desk used the same no-drill screw system as the bed. Once assembled, the bed looks clean and sturdy. The built-in power outlets are convenient, and the drawers offer useful storage.However, I have two minor complaints. The ladder feels unnecessarily narrow, making it awkward for teens to climb. Also, the adhesive on the included LED strip is weak and required reinforcement with my own double-sided tape to stay in place.

This bed is working out wonderfully. It’s much heavier and also much better quality than we expected. It was a production to put together but it’s very sturdy. It creeks a little when my son climbs up the ladder. We braced it onto the wall on both walls but I think it just wiggles slightly and creeks. My son loves the big desk and all the shelves and drawers. It’s opened up his bedroom and given him a lot of extra space. Great value for the price.Edited to Update. It took us a few days to try and get the lights up and working. The light strip keeps falling and won't stay up and the remote doesn't work even though we tried to change the battery. I have tried to contact the company to get a replacement remote.

The media could not be loaded. UNBELIEVABLE QUALITY!!!! Easy to assemble did it with my 11 year old son with music playing. Must have two people - very simple and highest quality I’ve ever bought - it’s sooooo beautiful

We bought this for my daughter’s apartment for college. She loves it as it gives her additional room and a desk. It took us about 2 hours to fully assemble.I am rating 4-stars for three reasons1. You will need to buy a board for mattress support as the slates are thin and can be felt through the mattress.2. It will need additional bracing s it is a bit shaky when climbing to the top.3. You will need a buddy to assemble and make sure the first few steps are correct!

I bought this bed for my 9 year old son. The two of us were able to put it together easily. You definitely need 2 people to put together. It took us a few hours, but we were able to read the picture instructions and get through it. I recommend using a ratchet allen wrench. The package is like 7 feet long and 2 feet wide and REALLY heavy. We brought the pieces upstairs a few pages at a time. Everything was separated into bags and numbered. We haven't attached it to the wall yet because we have floor boards, so thats something to keep in mind, you may need to put something in that space. Its a beautiful bed when finished. My son loves it

It was a process to put up the bed but I was able to manage it by myself. It came with a few extra bolts which was appreciated. Looks great and is sturdy when secured into the wall. Kid loved it.

I love the color and how sturdy the whole thing is! Took a few hours to assemble and looks great! It’s giving me so much space in my room and I really love the metal mesh with hooks to hang things.However, I personally can’t give it 5 stars due to a few design flaws.-Desk is extremely narrow so I can fit my monitorsbut can’t fit anything other than a small keyboard in front of them. I suppose that’s on me though because I should’ve checked the measurements.-the shelves are kind of useless in the sense that you can’t put anything delicate on them because the bed shakes a lot when you climb to your bed. I know you can anchor it, but it still shakes way too much to put anything that tumble‘s easily. Maybe should have had another stability bar at bottom or wider feet to be more stable.-the slates for the bed aren’t quite aligned or distanced the right way so the edges of both of mattress edges droop down.-the stairs are far too narrow, so it makes it really hard to climb up and down and because the stairs are also the shelves, half of your shelf space can’t even be used.-There’s not really any safe areas to grip when you’re climbing up and down so I had to put grip tape where I grab so I don’t slip and fall. In addition, the screws and plastic caps get caught on clothes and rip or tear them so I had to put cushioning on all of those as well.-I did read that the drawers were fabric, but I just don’t understand why they couldn’t have been metal or wood because the fabric drawers obviously won’t last as long.I like the idea of this bed, but I just can’t good. Conscience say I’d buy this version again.
