I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor of these. I looked through the reviews and saw that some people got duds -- our jar was full of flavor! Truffles are notorious for losing their flavor fast so having a jar of truffles shipped here and retain their flavor was, like I said, a pleasant surprise. It is quite expensive but that's how it goes with truffles.

For a special treat in omeletes and stir frys adding an umami flavor that I love and the oil is good for drizzling on salads. Good flavor and great for the price I use these more than the fresh ones because they last longer.

Tasting these fresh right out of the jar, they’re not very good at all. Taste like rubber and chemicals dipped in truffle oil. Despite this, I still risked dinner by chopping some up and cooking them into a Demi-glacé, and it was delicious. I actually wish I had used more of them because my fear of the artificial tastes led me to use about half of what I intended. So, as long as you’re not expecting to serve these right out of the jar on top of a dish, they work great.

ALL of the olive oil leaked out of the minced truffles. I wanted to use this oil but now it is all over the packaging material! What a mess! Won’t buy again!

Excellent and elegant taste of real black truffle thin slices in oil. Perfect for adding to my gravy for roast chicken or roast turkey. Perfect for adding to scrambled eggs as well.

They don't really taste like truffles. Made a pasta and was disappointed.

Buono prodotto ad un buon prezzo. Comodo da avere i casa quando vien voglia di fare una ricetta che richiede il tartufo nero e non è stagione o non si riesce a trovare. Discretamente profumato e saporito certo il fresco e insuperabile. In ogni caso Molto meglio di quelli pessimi in salamoia.

Los más me a gustado es la calidad y aroma es espectacular y lo que menos es que una vez que habres la lata enseguida le sale moho en par de semanas pero bueno la próxima vez las utilizare antes en general muy recomendable.

Spaghetti mit etwas Nudelwasser und Parmiggiano, dazu ein Teelöffel dieser Trüffel und vom gleichen Hersteller etwas Trüffelöl. Himmlisch gut.
