I attached this strap to an older, heavy pair of Bushnell binoculars and it made them easy to use for birding or hiking. I will buy another strap for my new Celestron binoculars now that I know it is comfortable and seems to be durable. I left the strap long and wear it across my chest and the binocs don't bounce or bother me at all when hiking and climbing. There is also clips to hold any extra strap.
