Detomaso Men's Airbreaker Quartz Watch with Black Dial Analogue Display and Black Leather Bracelet DT-YG101-A

I suppose now we all carry smartphones, a watch is as much a fashion item as a timepiece. Upsides are I like the way it looks, the value for money and that I actually use the chronograph, which I didn't expect to. Downsides are the calendar date needs adjusting at the start of the month as this is not a perpetual, it has no alarm, which I have on other watches and it's taken me a while to get used to the tiny second hand.. I probably should mention that it keeps good time, but that's expected of even the cheapest watch these days. Of all these things, the look is possibly the most important for why I bought it. Taste is individual. You either like it or you don't. It cost me less than £50 and now has more than doubled in price ahead of Christmas. There are a lot of watches out there, and I wouldn't have bought this one at the current price of £109. However, if the price drops back again next year, I might get another one of a different colour. ********************* Edited to add: Jan 2018. After having worn the first one for over a year, I bought a second, slightly more expensive one with the white face with the brown strap. I thought it only fair to change the rating from four to five stars.

Bought the watch as I wanted something to wear when out socialising but which I could also use in meetings. Great look, well made and is a great size. The leather strap is very comfortable and the watch feels solid. I have a number of watches including Klaus Kobec, Citizen Promaster, G Shock, Shark and others and I have to admit that this one is a striking looking watch and well worth the money. I have only had it a few weeks but already I am absolutely happy with the purchase. Highly recommended.

10* !! Very comfortable and looks great. Arrow of seconds of chronograph is not fully covering with marks but it's not so visible and impotent. When you bay it and u start thinking black parts are made of plastic, ur wrong. It's just first view and is because of black paint with mat effect. Leather stripe is really thick and filling wrist is unbelievable comfortable! First watch which I'm sleeping with. Minimum reflections on glass. Fully recommended good-price-and-quality watch.

I have a large watch collection and this watch is right up there as one of my best ones. The watch arrived as stated. It was well packaged and has a fantastic metal case. The watch has a quality leather strap. The watch face looks fantastic and keeps excellent time. I would highly recommend this watch.

Checked out previous reviews and on these recommendations decided to buy this watch I'm not disappointed good quality materials in the construction of the watch would recommend especially at the price I paid.

Watch was great well worth the money

A very nice watch from DeTomaso. Especially the leather band is great!

Che dire. Non passa inosservato. Ogni cosa é curata nei minimi dettagli. Anche la scatola che lo contiene. Il marchio DETOMASO é ben visibile dappertutto. Il libricino delle istruzioni é multilingua, tra cui l'Italiano. L'orologio é massiccio e ben rifinito. i riferimenti del cronografo sono la lancetta dei secondi sul quadrante grande, i minuti sul quandrante piccolo di sinistra mentre il quadrante esagonale in basso misura i 1/20 di secondo (praticamente la lancetta fa un giro completo ogni secondo)...bellissimo! I pulsanti rispondono bene ai comandi di pressione. Sarà la mia impressione ma non noto alcuna luminescenza notturna delle lancette. Mi sarebbe piaciuto trovarlo con il cinturino in acciaio, ma per quello che l'ho pagato, va benissimo così.

Un'orologio davvero bello, oltre ad essere preciso, fa la sua bella figura, un cinturino molto particolare nei due colori nero e rosso. Anche la confezione molto particolare. Lo consiglio.

Eine wunderschöne Arnbanduhr. Durch das weiße Zifferblatt wirkt sie sehr edel. Extravagnt finde ich den Sekundenzeiger, der rechts im Zifferblatt läuft. Der große Sekundenzeiger ist nur für die Stoppuhr. Das braune Armband ist super verarbeitet und passt super zur Uhr. Die Uhr ist sehr gut verarbeitet. Für diesen Preis gibt es nichts besseres.

Die Uhr hat meiner Meinung nach ein sehr ansprechendes Design das unter anderem durch die gut zusammenpassenden Farben entsteht. Das Armband trägt sich sehr angenehm und sieht auch sehr gut aus. Überzeugend ist auch das immer wieder Auftauchende Sechseck, welches sowohl in der unteren hälfte des Ziffernblatts, als auch die Vorm der Krone ist, als auch die der sehr Wertig aussehernden Metall-Verpackung, die Verpackung von Detomaso-Uhren gefällt mir übrigens sehr gut, ich wünschte mir das sich hier viele ein Beispiel nehmen würden, und das Armband läuft auf beiden Seiten ebenfalls wie ein jeweils halbes Sechseck zu, also eben mit zwei Winkeln auf jeder Seite, einem kurzen gerade Stück, wieder zwei Winkeln und einem Geraden Stück in der Mitte, eine schönes Detail der Uhr. Das Sechseck im Ziffernblatt spiegelt Licht leicht, so das es einen schönes Design-Merkmal ist. Im Äußeren Ring ist eine etwas Hervorgehobene Stelle mit der aufschrift GMT, während um den Rest des Rings die anderen Zeitzonen zu lesen sind, die Schrift ist sehr dezent, auch ist die Hervorgehobene Stelle mit GMT ein praktischer Schutz davor, die Gesamte Uhr zu zerkratzen, da dieser Punkt ein Wenig hervorragt.

Wie erwartet habe ich eine Detomaso Uhr im schicken Design und bester Qualität zu einem unschlagbarem Tiefpreis als Geschenk erworben, um die Sammlung meines Mannes zu erweitern. Die Lieferung erfolgte schnell und in einer gut gepolsterten Verpackung.
