how often do you have to change the bulb

Jay, I have purchased an additional bulb, only as a back up. I guess it really depends on your usage. I've had the Bug Zapper for two months now and probably use it 3x week and it been great. I haven't had to change it as of yet.

If it stops working after a few weeks can you just replace bulb or is it toast?

I have had mine for over a year and never a problem but DO NOT leave it out in the rain. I am not aware of a replacement bulb

Used for 2 months last summer. Pulled out for this year. Doesn’t work. Bought replacement bulb. Still doesn’t work. Any other ideas?

No power to bulb or grid, Manual says it could be starter. With one year warranty they should some way replace starter or whole unit.
