It's not powder coated. The paint is peeling off from the metal.

The cross itself was great, but the chain already broke.

My children absolutely love these! They are great quality and have held up quite nicely! They look great and are very sturdy. My daughter wear the black one everyday and it has not tarnished or anything! I think I will end up having to order more for some of my nieces and nephews.
