Absolutely great cheese and transaction

Strong, creamy, long aftertaste, perfect on cheese board. Another product from Snowdonia that i had bought for christmas but it was opened mid december. Leave to get to room temp. before you taste and you will not be dissappointed. If you like strong cheddar with a fabulous bite then this is the one.

This is my all time favourite cheese. It tastes incredible, and it’s reasonably priced. It arrived with a long expiration date, and was sent 24 hour tracked via Royal Mail. If I’m buying cheese, I only ever buy from this retailer.

This cheese is very tasty, it kind of melts slowly on your tongue, giving it a slightly grainy texture. Very pleasant experience. The wax surrounding the cheese is quite thick and a thick bladed knife is needed to cut it open, a thin one might break. At the price, which includes postage it is expensive, BUT, it is an artisan cheese. Would I buy it again? No I don't think so, but only because of the price. It would possibly make a nice birthday or other type of present. But bear in mind it is small, coming in at only 200g. Hence 4 star rating, I nearly only put 3 stars but the taste alone improved the rating.

Really delicious a big favourite with me as it has all the strong rich flavour of a good mature cheddar but with a creamy texture. Not widely available so if you're not in the vicinity of a good cheese monger well worth ordering on here. I'm also very fond of the one flavoured with port.

In assoluto uno dei migliori cheddar che abbia mai assaggiato. Consistenza corposa e pastosa (tipica della lunga stagionatura) che paradossalmente, si scioglie in bocca. Molto gradevole sia alla vista, sia ai fini della conservazione, il rivestimento in cera. Caldamente consigliato a tutti gli amanti non solo del cheddar, ma anche di tutti i formaggi inglesi in generale: questo formaggio è letteralmente la loro bandiera! Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo: considerando l'alto valore gastronomico del prodotto, il costo richiesto lo definirei … moderato. Nota di merito è sicuramente l'assenza delle spese di spedizione, anche senza l'opzione "prime". Tempi di spedizione medii; imballaggio solido, robusto ed estremamente accurato (confezione in legno ben sigillata, munita di abbondante paglia all'interno).

Just Perfect

My wife and I discovered this cheese on a summer vacation to Wales. We are avid hikers and wanted to get some easy to carry items to have for lunch while at the top of some of the peaks in Snowdonia. A local market suggested this cheese so we gave it a try. Wow were we shocked how good it was. So much so that we searched everywhere to try and find it again and thankfully Amazon has it. Well worth the price. It has a wonderful sharp and strong cheddar flavor without being overwhelming. The texture is amazingly smooth and creamy and it even has those small salt crystals inside. If you love cheddar then do yourself a favor and order this. You will NOT be disappointed.
