Great for hands that need to stay busy while indulging in more passive activities.
I got the set of two picky pads roughly two weeks ago. I'm a multi-tasker, I love films and TV shows, but I usually need to be doing something while watching, otherwise, I feel pinned down and restless. Unfortunately, because I have a habit of skin picking, my face and scalp are often victims of my fidgety nature, and anyone who has a skin-picking habit can relate to the pain and bleeding that can accompany the obsessive behavior. This has been a really good substitute, and while it doesn't keep my hands away from my face/scalp 100% of the time, it still helps and is, frankly, kinda satisfying. It's also a good outlet for my stress and anxiety. The beads are small and can get everywhere. I've designated a small plastic container to put them in while I'm actively using the pad, and when I'm done, I transfer the beads (using a tiny funnel that I have from another hobby kit) to a small glass bottle. I embroider, so I plan to use the vibrant beads to add visual and textile interest in my projects. In the meantime, I kinda like how fun all the colors look in the little bottle. The picky pads come in a nice, hard, zippered case and come with two tiny drawstring bags to hold the beads. I can easily see myself using the case in the future, maybe for my wired earbuds, or something else; it truly is of good quality. The pads seemed sticky, and a sensory nightmare at first, and the silicone seemed to get EVERYWHERE, but with use and the natural oils from my skin, the pad became less sticky, and the silicone began to stop sticking to my hands as much. The whole kit does have some weight to it, but the pads are still manageable and aren't too large or too small. I can definitely see myself purchasing these again in the future.

The easiest way for me to relax.
I’ve always felt like popping videos online are therapeutic; the thing that doesn’t belong is removed and the skin can start healing. So picking at my skin, hair, and nails has similarly always been an issue. This scratches the same itch. It is super helpful when I’m stressed or irritable, it helps recenter/focus on better or more productive subjects. This is my first experience with this type of picking toy so I not sure how it stacks against similar brands. The material the beads are in is mildly sticky - as in it will pick up stray hair and dust but will not stick to your hands. The texture doesn’t ick me out in the slightest. But anyone with trypophobic tendencies is not going to enjoy picking at this for too long because this doesn’t have the same elasticity as skin; these “pores” are staying open. I picked this set specifically because I wanted a carrying case so I can take it on the go and came with bags for the beads as well. Both are helpful. The set has two discs and each disc has two layers. I appreciate this because once I have completed the first layer, I peel them apart and start on the second layer. I prefer low pressure pops/squeezes, so this works best for me. If you are feeling more stressed or you would want to dig, potentially with tools, it seems that you can keep the layers together or flip it over and approach from the opposite side. I really like this, I showed it to my closer coworkers and family when I got it. I finished the last layer today and I am already itching for more! I think I’ll be ordering this set for my sister.

Works GREAT!
I thought it was gonna be a bit bigger. I wish it was reuseable, but it is perfect for people who pick at their skin! It kept my daughter entertained for a while and she hasn't picked her scabs since!

Wasn't right for me but it's quality product
I think this is a great idea and it can sort if help my anxiety. I don't know now it can be fixed, but I get so stressed out about what to do with the ones I take out, it kind of cancels out the benefit of the picking. I just couldn't make it a comfortable flow to pick it a besd, put it in a container then go back to pick another. The product itself was nice, I my case it was me user not compatible.

Just what I needed
Love my picky pad! I use it mostly during work meetings & it definitely meets my sensory needs when trying to focus. The pouch is a great way to keep all the little beads together and to keep in your bag. Definitely a worth it at such a great price!

Great for skin picking replacement
Extremely satisfying. I skin pick really bad and this is a good replacement when I feel my urge. Be careful of how you take the beads out, sometimes when I use a tweezer I lose grip and the bead can fly across the room lol! Overall very satisfying and great for people with anxiety , skin picking or need a calming outlet

Flawed design and not reusable
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Definitely not worth the money. The beads come out easily and then it's not reusable.
