I've had a number of these items and it is hit and miss how long they last or completely lose their connection and will not reconnect this one connected first time and is going strong so far with a stable connection you'll pay your money you take your risk

Didn’t work how I was hoping and had to keep recalibrating it on my phone and Alexa as wasn’t working with them well

May need a little ingenuity to install on smaller valves but has worked well so far

Fitted to my sons water supply after a burst pipe flooded his home while he was away for a few days.Now has a schedule set to turn off the water each morning and just uses Alexa to turn on when he gets home.Opens or closes valve in about 5 seconds.

Now this is a pretty niche smart device that allows you to operate a lever remotely or via a smart home assistant.Set up is easy using the SmartLife app but you have to search for the device under a "curtain WiFi switch" to add it to your account.Once connected, it pairs with your WiFi and you can then operate the switch on and off or schedule a time etc.It comes with jubilee clips it attach it to a pipe either gas or water with the robotic arm fitting either side of the handle on the valve you want to control.Once set up the servo has enough power to turn the level 90 degrees from an off to on position or back again.Seems well made and could be very useful in the right application.

A great solution for non-contact valve control. I have explored some solutions which require replacing the valve with an electronically controlled version - this one simply attaches to your valve and moves it open or closed. I have tested it on a cold water valve and it works with no issues. The unit may struggle with a larger valve, or an older unit which requires more torque to turn.
