Nice whisky for a nice price

It’s my 1st time ordering alcohol from Amazon & I was impressed with the care they took. It was packaged extremely well . The driver asking my DOB made me feel for that split 2nd young but was told it has to be given & inputed into his hand held device by law so that young feeling soon left me with the reality that I’m an old sod . Anyways back to this wonderful Irish whiskey . Wow it’s GOOD. Very mild & smooth unlike the cheap Scottish stuff out there . Having tried it neat it goes down well with that subtle warmth which allows you to taste the flavours . Fruity , earthy Woody notes all those posh things that professional taste testers say . I’ve never had that with the scotch stuff that burns your taste buds & throat chemical like liquid . I gave up on scotch years ago after trying Irish whiskeys but this is probably one of the best out there in my opinion. It’s great neat & even better for making Irish coffee . Even if you are not a whiskey fan I think after giving this a try you will change your mind . I absolutely love it & now on my fourth coffee I’m even looking younger -(NOT) . 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for taste & the same for value.

I have recently got into drinking whisk(e)y as a hobby and bought this based on price and reviews. I paid £16 (currently on offer for £15). The good points are, it’s really smooth which you get from being triple distilled. I had to double check the alcohol content which is 40%, it is so easy to drink! On the nose I couldn’t smell much, a bit of damp hay perhaps? The taste itself was a bit of vanilla and not much else. I think this is a good introduction but does lack a bit in flavour. I got no after taste, if you are starting off I would give this a go , it’s pleasant but no wow factor, but for £15/£16 it’s a bargain.••••••• Had another bash at it today and got more flavour, toffee & vanilla, it’s good stuff. Simple but effective a definite 5 star & for £15/£16 an absolute bargain.

Irish whiskey’s is not made from malt so it’s much milder and the taste is great.

I knew what I was ordering since Tullamore DEW is one of my two Whiskies of choice, and sorry Scotland, both of them are Irish! The price was competitive and having had some difficulty getting it from my usual supermarkets, I decided to order online. However I do have a negative comment about the packaging. Whilst the bottle was within a double layer of substantial cardboard, it wasn’t itself restrained in any way. Consequently if you inverted the package which is bound to happen during it’s journey, the bottle slid around, which you could feel and hear. There should be some internal ‘stuffing’ to prevent that. Having said that, the bottle was fine, and I do recommend this whiskey, it really is a lovely smooth drink.

This was got for my dad who likes whisky. It was well rated which is why I chose it. It was also nicely priced at the time I ordered it compared to similar whiskies.

Er kratzt nicht, er brennt nicht – er gleitet. 🥃 Ein ehrlicher Whiskey, der nicht versucht, dir irgendeine künstliche Prestige-Show zu verkaufen. Einfach purer Genuss ohne Drama. Perfekt für: ✔ Feierabend (Pflicht) ✔ Wochenendstarts ✔ „Ich hab genug von heute“-Momente ✔ Als Geschenk, wenn man jemandem etwas Gutes tun will (oder sich selbst 😉) 5 Sterne, weil dieser Whiskey geradezu eine Therapie mit alkoholischer Begleitung ist. Und günstiger als echte Therapie sowieso. 😄

Scotch is smoky and burns your mouth and throat. Tullamore is super smooth and a great drinking whiskey, or if you want to mix with coke or ginger ale it also goes down well

Whisky blended irlandese, un classico dell'Irlanda, tripla distillazione invecchiato in un mix di botti americane ex-bourbon ed europee ex-sherry. Dall'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, questo Tullamore Dew colpisce subito per la sua morbidezza: è la prima parola che mi viene in mente pensando a questo distillato. Pagato poco più di 12 euro, prezzo eccellente (l'ho visto in giro tranquillamente al doppio), è un whisky dal rassicurante color ambrato con un sapore deciso come un whisky deve essere ma poi immediatamente dolce, fruttato con sentori piuttosto chiari di mela e vaniglia con un pizzico di speziato mai invasivo. Non sono certo un sommelier ma quei sentori possono chiaramente essere distinti. Come whisky da tutti i giorni è impagabile, sostituirete presto il "whiskaccio" da battaglia, come i più noti brand da supermercato, con questo ve lo assicuro. Da avere sempre in dispensa, cinque stelle vinte a mani basse.
