Q: How strong is the tint in this product? I'm looking for something subtle that will be barely noticeable without makeup.

I find it's barely noticeable. It doesn't provide any coverage and I wouldn't say that it looks like you are wearing any make up at all if you were to wear it alone. The tint is useful to keep the normal skin colour instead of the white-ish look you can get from non-tinted physical sunscreens.
