The item description says 14k gold in numerous places. It also mentions gold plated in ONE place. When we got the item, we looked for the 14k stamp which (in our experience) always appears on a 14k item. This item does not have a 14k stamp. However, it also looks very shiny, which is not characteristic of a 14k item. Our conclusion is that the item is, in fact, gold plated and NOT 14k. Based on that I think the description given is not accurate and possibly deceptive.

This is NOT Gold. I had it appraised and they couldn't tell me what the metal was. Also it has started giving me a rash.
