I love this idea pad, it is light and easy to use. It loads up fast and is very responsive. It has a lovely keyboard that is vety responsive. Great laptop for the money. Does everything you need.

Overall good value.. was looking for 14’ so was limited. 16gb ram was great. i5 chip is ok and not the fastest. Screen is not the brightest and could be improved on. Keyboard is good but not back lit. Size and weight is good. Set up was reasonably easy.

A good value laptop at the Amazon Deal discounted price (£359) I paid. General performance is good though the display quality is rather poor. As others have noted, viewing is not good unless the viewer is directly infront of the display. At any angle, quality and clarity are disappointingly lost. Using a higher than default brightness setting and a high contrast desktop theme help. Otherwise, this is a good package with plenty of DDR5 memory (16GB) and a rapid (512GB) SSD. Note, as the memory is soldered in to the motherboard, it cannot be upgraded. I added a pair of small stand brackets to give a better angle when typing. They work a treat and are readily available on Amazon for about £4 or £5. Like some other reviewers, after a few weeks I started to regularly lose my WiFi connection and could only restore it by a reset of the laptop's network settings. This was proving to be rather tedious! After some investigation, I found this to be due to new "rogue" network driver being automatically downloaded. I temporarily reverted to the older version and the issue disappeared. Subsequently, a newer driver was issued by Lenovo/Intel and that works fine. So, in summary, I am pleased with my purchase. The laptop does all that I ask of it and is light and easily portable. Battery life is more than adequate and there is a quick charge facility where, according to Lenovo, a 14 minute charge gives 2 hours of battery life. Watch out for Amazon Deals. This laptop is often sold with a significant discount....

I downsized after years of i7 working on superfast 3D etc in the office. I cant use ACAD on it etc, as the graphics is not up to spec, but I use sketchup (2015) and its fine so long as the file size is not gigantic. I like the screen connection to be strong which Lenovo always does well. Also impressed with the batery life. I use backup drives a lot (not cloud) so there are 2 USB and 1 C type connector - it also plugs into my big monitor.

I am very disappointed with my Lenovo laptop. The build quality and overall performance have not met my expectations. I have been facing numerous issues since purchasing it, including frequent system crashes and unexpected shutdowns. One of the most frustrating problems is that the laptop completely stops working and remains unusable for about a week every couple of months. These recurring issues have significantly affected my productivity and made the device unreliable for both work and personal use. Considering the problems I have experienced, I would not recommend this laptop to others looking for a dependable and high-quality device.

Perfect! Fast, powerful, quality

The good: - Excellent value for money. The neutral: - Small (this can be good or bad). It's more portable but you can't fit as many things on the screen. The bad: - The bloatware. McAffee (and a browser extension that can only be removed after removing the main program), like 4 Lenovo programs and all the bloatware Windows already has (Copilot, XBox Live, OneDrive, etc.) and plus some that cannot be removed (Edge). - The silly thinking of making F keys work with their secondary function by default. - Windows wanting me to create an online account for logging to my PC (not going to happen).
