I plan on keeping my car for a car for a while more, in its 10th year with less than 47,000 miles. Engine electronics ( ME ): P051200 The start enable has a malfunction. **I’m aware this is not an issue; I had auto start/stop coded for memory position to be off if needed Left front door (DCU-LF): B175515 The output for the ambient lamp has a malfunction. There is a short circuit to positive or an open circuit. **I’m aware this is not an issue; I just have a CAN bus installed for aftermarket LED connection Ambiance light ( AML ): U112687 Communication with one or more color generation and coupling modules on LIN bus 5 has a malfunction. After learning that for some simple maintenance, on my 2022 Subaru Outback, I needed a bidirectional scan tool, I began looking for the best scan tool for me. After spending many hours comparing scan tools, viewing YouTube videos, contacting customer service at different companies for detailed lists of functionalities available for my car, I decided to purchase the Xtool IP919Pro. This tool gave me all the features I needed, at a reasonable price. Here are a few reasons as to why I chose the IP919Pro. 1. It came with three years of software updates. The annual software updates can be pricey. Getting three years included from the get-go helped me reduce the immediate future costs and allowed me to purchase a higher-level scanner. 2. Customer service. They replied to my inquiries faster than other companies. They followed up in a professional manner. After my purchase they followed up and asked if I needed help, if the tool was working well and to let them know if I encountered problems. 3. Functionality. For my Outback this has all the special functions I was looking for. The Emergency Brake release for brake maintenance. ABS bleeding and manual transmission re-programming for when I replace the transmission fluid. a. Topology—this has the easier topology view that is so much easier to navigate than a normal interface on other scanners. b. The connection to the car is through a wireless WI-FI connection and not blue tooth. It can also connect through a cable for better stability for programming functions. c. 42+ reset services. It has more than comparably priced units. 4. The reviews I watched on YouTube had more positive reviews for Xtool, calling out impressive functionality like Xtool scanners providing even the four digit security codes used for key programming, instead of having to reach out to the dealers to get that by VIN. I have now used the tool to do emergency brake release for brake maintenance and resetting and the tool worked flawlessly. I used it to do a diagnosis of my car, and it flew through the module topology. Very fast. Some of the other tools seen in videos weren’t nearly as fast. It’s a powerful tool that will pay for itself repeatedly as I use it to maintain our vehicles. It came with a quality case. It has a very nice charging stand. Many different adapter connections to different cars. The updates that I’ve done so far have been fast. I’ve had other regular scan tools, and the updates take a little more than what I’m seeing with this tool. It’s an investment, and a need for all of us DIY mechanics, that will help us continue to maintain and work on our cars as much as possible.

I purchased the XTOOL IP919 PRO because I maintain both American and German vehicles and wanted one diagnostic tool that could handle the maintenance tasks for all of them. Setup was straightforward, and updating the software was simple. The scanner identifies my vehicles quickly and, so far, has successfully performed every function I've needed, including service resets, brake service functions, and TPMS-related work. Based on my experience so far, the IP919 PRO has provided the vehicle coverage, functionality, and ease of use I was looking for. I've been very pleased with the purchase.

Bought this product used it a few times then died on me tried to return it but not luck was stuck with it. Tried customer service no help with replacement product. Just left with an expensive car scanner that I can’t use. This product doesn’t hold a charge or even charge with the port or using type c charger it came with. Please refund my scan tool or send me a replacement one I’d greatly appreciate your customer service.

I’ve been using the XTOOL IP919 Pro V2.0 in my automotive shop, and it’s been a great investment. The tablet is fast and responsive, and the 8GB RAM with 128GB of storage makes navigating through diagnostics and programming smooth. The topology mapping and bi-directional controls have been very helpful when diagnosing complex vehicle issues, and the programming functions have worked well on the vehicles I’ve used it on. What really stood out was the customer service. The support team responded quickly to my questions and helped me through the update process. They followed up afterward to make sure everything was working correctly, which is something you don’t see very often. Overall, if you’re looking for a professional scan tool with strong diagnostic capabilities, ECU programming features, and excellent customer support, I’d definitely recommend the IP919 Pro V2.0.

The tool is GREAT! But there should be WAY MORE online support and ref material concerning it.OR, maybe I'm just thick,,LOL.Any-1 with modest understandings will gravitate towards the function and results of the IP919PRO.I bought the best I could afford and am glad for that.There is a LEARNING CURVE getting used to it's use.DO NOT get discouraged-it WILL come if you persist.You will learn more than you bargained for in every department.If you bought the tool thinking the tool will just tell you whats wrong,,,,,we may "see YOUR TOOL listed for cheap on FB".If you want to save $$ and repair cars more betterer,,,,,,,hit You Tube,Google,and use the "ALLOW ACCESS" feature of your IP919PRO to get that extra help. The more you use/play with it,,,,the more you'll love it.All I can say is I saved $200 when I installed my 07 Ford EDge computer and did the keys myself.Now,,,it's "RIGHT HERE" to the lock smith,,,hahaha.That was just the first 10 min. of getting it.It's been earning and SAVING me since.Do NOT look for the company to help you,You WILL have to learn<<<YOU CAN DO IT!!! I'm 64,bought this,never had 1 before,,,and LOVE IT.the 3 years free up-dates is good to,,,plan on THAT every other time you use it.Good luck and never give up.FIGHT fight ,FIGHT you'll get it right.

This scan tool is a great addition to my automotive diagnostic arsenal. I have purchased a number of scan tools through the years and the IP919 Pro has now become my favorite. After watching several YouTube videos suggesting topology might aid in diagnosing CAN equipped vehicles I went on the hunt for a new scan tool with topology. I watched numerous favorable YouTube videos on the IP919 Pro and I then decided to take a chance from a company I never heard of and purchase this scan tool. I have not been disappointed. Depending on the vehicle, the topology mapping on this scan tool works relatively quickly and I like the format to see how the modules are connected. Besides the topology, this scan tool's processor is extremely fast which enables a quick boot up, the data PIDs are retrieved rapidly, and there is no lag time changing between the different scan tool functions. The tablet has a sturdy feel to it, the touch screen works well, and the tablet charging cradle is quite handy. However, what's really great about this scan tool is it has a company that stands by its product. Let me explain. A few weeks ago, I used my IP919 Pro to scan a friend's vehicle for a check engine light and everything was working well until at one point I lost communication with the vehicle and the scan tool was just buffering. This now had become a "no good deed goes unpunished" moment. To keep the story short, I contacted Xtool through a link on my IP919 Pro and within a short time Carina, an Xtool representative, contacted me. Carina then spearheaded a speedy repair for my IP919 Pro with a company's engineer remotely repairing my scan tool. Great product and great service.

I had never heard of XTOOL scan tools before, but i had been seeing previews for them on Youtube and was excited to give it a try. This is by far the most expensive tool i have ever bought and was quite nervous about it. I had use a few Snap-on scanners in the past so this had some pretty big shoes to fill. I was not disappointed at all. The speed of this thing puts anything I've used to shame, and the amount of services it can do is incredible, way more than i will ever need as a "DIY out of my garage mechanic". For someone looking to do so basic diagnostics this may be a little much and those may want to check out one of the lesser models offered by XTOOL. I did have a small issue with one of the services working when I received it but then stopped working with one of the updates that was pushed through. I was pretty bummed since it was being used to track down an issue on my personal vehicle when it stopped. I e-mailed customer service and by the end of the day i had a reply with a few things to try to see if it would solve the problem, it didn't. So the following day I reached back out and showed them a few pictures of it working previously and then all the sudden it not, and again i received a reply by the end of the day saying they are giving the information to the engineering team and to hold tight while they look into it. A couple days later i received a message asking me to download the new update and try again, I did and it still didn't fix my issue, i was starting to lose faith. I emailed them back informing them of my findings and waited for a reply, sure enough i had it in a few hours and it told me they were working diligently on a new update to take care of this issue and to expect one in the near future, after about 5 or 6 more emails i was asked to try the newest update and report back, IT WORKED!!!! They had troubleshooted and fixed a very specific issues that one customer had and that was all it took to regain my faith in the company. Each email began with an apology for the issues i was having and ended with a positive message, felt like i was actually a customer who mattered. I can not give enough props to the customer service team, I'm not sure if i have ever experienced this caliber of care from a company.

I’ve been using the XTOOL IP919PRO for a while now in my daily work as a mechanic, and overall I’m very satisfied with the performance of the tool. It handles diagnostics very well and covers a wide range of functions that are useful for both basic and more advanced work. The interface is easy to use, and the tool has been reliable so far without any issues. One thing I really want to highlight is the customer service — they are very responsive and professional. Every time I had a question or needed assistance, they replied quickly and were helpful, which makes a big difference. The tool also comes in a professional, well-organized case, which makes it easy to store and transport everything safely — a nice bonus for daily use. If I had to mention something that could be improved, it would be the charging time. It would be better if the device could charge faster. Other than that, everything else has been very good so far. Overall, a solid diagnostic tool that gets the job done, and I’m looking forward to using it even more as I continue exploring its full capabilities.

Amazing Product. Use it professionally, on daily basis. Have quiet of different scanners. But this is a most economical yet, the fastest , most functions. Just an amazing product.
