Great product
Added this to my Waterdrop 1200 it was easy to add I purchased a longer piece of pipe approx. 30 ft to connect it to my fridge a s although my fridge is only 12 feet from the unit I needed to route it down into my basement and have enough slack to pull the fridge out if needed. This caused no pressure problems at the fridge for water or ice making.

Works--I think?
All the needed pieces are included and the paper instructions were ok; we found a video that was very useful when installing. At first, we bought this add-on because our new refrigerator ice maker (on the other side of the kitchen about 12-15 feet away) was not working but another appliance on the same dedicated filtration line (built in coffee maker) was, so we thought it was a pressure issue. After installing the pressure tank, the ice maker still did not work so we pulled the refrigerator out and the ice maker eventually kicked on...we think we had a kink in the line to the ice maker but not 100% sure as we attempted a bunch of fixes and really don't know what the issue/fix was. It works great now although water from the filtration spout come out fast--enough to splash out of the glass and we wonder if the pressure tank is contributing to this, but it is better than not having ice, so we are leaving it as is for now.

Works as intended for refrigerator connection
It works to connect the Waterdrop X12 to my refrigerator. I wish the 1/4" tubing that came with it was a little longer for my setup. I ended up buying additional tubing for it to reach. It increases the water pressure needed for the refrigerator water/ice maker. It also increases the pressure for the X12 faucet. Use this in conjunction with SharkBite 1/4-in OD Push-to-Connect x 1/4-in Compression Female Adapter to make installation easy.

Leaked!
The T connector at the top of the tank leaked. Replaced this with Sim Pure accumulator tank and had no issues with the Sim Pure brand. I like my waterdrop tankless RO but I would not by this tank.

Can do better
Didn't seem to help much with pressure compared to my previous tank based RO filtration system that supported the same three outlets (faucet, fridge, hotwater), but did not try removing it after installation. The pump kicks in immediately in the RO system as there is not much capacity in this small tank. It likely gives you an illusion of water rushing through early on, but almost immediately teh RO system kicks in.

Simple design with no issues; does what it’s supposed to
I’m not 100% sure of the functional purpose for this tiny water tank, but I wasn’t sure required for my Waterdrop RO unit. Im pretty sure it’s to hold a small amount of water under pressure so that when your refrigerator needs to draw water to feed the ice maker or water dispenser, there will be water in the line at pressure. Our old RO system had one of those classical pressure tanks, but our Waterdrop X12 isn’t designed with one, so when you’re connecting a second line to the fridge, this is where this tiny water tank comes into play. And so far it’s worked flawlessly with leaks or other issues.
